Meanwhile, Chiyu is helping her family at the hot springs inn. She is seen sweeping the wooden floor to clear it up, and once she is finished, she puts down her broom and is feeling proud of her hard work.
Chiyu: Phew, that's the last of it.
???: Cure Fontaine, is it?
Chiyu: She turns around. No... Shindoine! Why are you here?
Shindoine: No particular reason. Just wanted to drop by and give you a warm welcome.
Chiyu: You know it is not polite to break into someone else's inn without permission. She frowns.
Shindoine: My, my. Is this how you treat your guest? Smirking.
Chiyu: You do realize that I am busy protecting my inn.
Shindoine: Oh sweetheart. I am not here to fight, I'm here to take you somewhere special. Somewhere you will not regret seeing.
Chiyu: What do you mean?
Shindoine: Oh you will see about that. She smiles and winks at her. Now shall we go? You are going to love this.
Chiyu: But... the inn...
Shindoine: Don't worry about that. That precious family of yours will take care of that.
Chiyu: How do you know about my family??
Shindoine: No time for any questions now. Let's go darling.
She motions Chiyu to step towards her and the two have vanished. As they have left, Earth has witnessed the scene with the other four.
Latte: Arf! She sniffs Chiyu's scent and is running towards the given direction, while everyone else follows her.
Chiyu and Shindoine have arrived at a nearby riverbank.
Chiyu: Wait a minute... I would go there sometimes when I do my jogs.
Shindoine: Ahh so you've been there before. She smiles. That's a good thing then. Now can you transform to Fontaine for me?
Chiyu: Pegitan, it's time
Pegitan: O-Okay!
Chiyu and Pegitan: They go through the transformation process together. The two intersecting streams!
Fontaine: I'm Cure Fontaine!
Pegitan: Pē!
Fontaine: What is your purpose and the point of you saying that I would like it?
Shindoine: Well, I will say that there is something behind the river that you haven't seen yet.
Fontaine: Um... okay?
Shindoine: She guides Fontaine to a small pond nearby. This pond can grant all of your wishes if you take one dip inside.
Fontaine: Hmm... it does look pretty convincing.

Shindoine: Nonsense cutie! Let her get a chance. She loves hot springs so much, don't you Fontaine?
Fontaine: Um... yes? But I don't trust this pond. No clue why though...
Later, another gust of wind reveals that the crystal clear pond is actually a pool of green acidic water.
Shindoine: Good riddens! Who dares to enter this domain without permission!
???: That's because it's polluted in disguise.
Fontaine: Earth!
Earth: Shindoine, you are so busted. Why? You are trying to poison Fontaine so you can fulfill all chances to spread the pollution.
Shindoine: D-Don't be ridiculous! What is she talking about!
Pegitan: You are a horrible liar~pē!
Fontaine: I knew something would be suspicious of that, Shindoine. If you are going to trick me into falling in your trap, then it is not going to work. I don't regret coming here and learning the danger of that pond, but I do regret almost going in there. This isn't going to work out, so this duo is over.
Shindoine: Well, well. Looks like you have passed your test. Good for you. But that won't change my mind to defeat you.
Fontaine: Oh really? With your foiled plan, I don't think King Byogen would be pleased. She smirks.
Shindoine: How dare you! She turns bright red. You'd better not act or else!
Fontaine: Too late, I am bringing you to good so you'll no longer be evil. Pretty Cure! Healing... Stream!!! She later shoots towards the pond to clean it up, and later the magic spreads towards Shindoine.
Sparkle: Nice going, Fontaine!
Fontaine: You're here too? And what is he doing here?
Guaiwaru: Don't worry, I'm on your side now. And so would she.

Nyatoran: But it's not over yet. We're worried about Nodoka...
Shindoine: This means she is to face Daruizen next. I wonder how she's going to handle that.
