*A few hours later*
I woke up I was dazed and tried and I started looking around, and Vicki was holding my hand with her head on it. "W-where am I?" She jumped up in the excitement of me being up
"oh thank god! you're ok! You're in the hospital you passed out in the ambulance." I tried to sit up but Vicki stopped me. "Don't sit up you'll hurt yourself." I looked at her then lay back down.
"W-what time is it?"' she pulled out her phone and looked down at it.
"It's 8:27." I let out a sigh
"how long should I be here?" I started looking around to see wires that were hooked up to me back to the machine.
"The doctor never said." we sat there in silence then the doctor walked in.
"ah good your up. How do you feel?" I looked at the doctor still a little dased
"well I'm tired, I feel pain in my chest, and it hurts to breathe." The doctor looked down at a clipboard he was holding.
"Well you have fractured ribs so it will be about six weeks to recover, you need to rest, but make sure to take a few deep breaths every few hours to prevent your lungs collapse in on themself. I looked up at the ceiling and let out a sigh
"got it..." I felt Vicki grab my hand
"hey it could have been worse," she said trying to cheer me up.
"Yeah... that's true." I looked over at her to see she was smiling a little.
"Well, when he can get out of here?" she looked over at the doctor
"well he should be checked out soon." she looked back at me smiling more
"that's great. Isn't Vic" I smiled a little
"yeah..." my smile soon faded and I looked back up at the ceiling.
*A hour later*
I was checked out of the hospitality at about 9:43 and it was dark, Vicki was walking by me and I looked around and asked her.
"Um, hey can you take me to my house?" she turned at me
"oh yeah, you were brought here by ambulance." I gave her a nervous smile
"yeah sorry if this is a pain." she playfully punched my arm
"Nah this is no big deal I'll do it." I smiled at her.
"Thanks." We got to her car and got in, she started it and we were off.
"So what's your address?" I paused then looked at her a little embarrassed
"I um... don't know it..." she let out a big sigh.
"Well guess I'll take you to my house then." I blushed and looked out the window.
"O-ok then." She looked over at me then back to the road. "I'm going to her house. what do I do?"
*a few minutes later*
She parked at her the driveway of her house, she had a decent size house big enough for two people. We walked through the front door and she pointed to the left. "That's the bathroom," she pointed over to a hallway "on the left is my room, then the right is a closet," she pointed in front of her "and that's the living room. So make yourself at home." I gave her a big smile
"Thanks." I looked around a little then I looked down at my shirt and there was blood from my mouth. "Um... do you have any clothes I can change into?" she stopped then turned around.
