She hides herself away
Almost as though she was a statue
Lost among the ruins
Over grown by the earth
Once more
Back to the nature
Where she belonged
Longing for a love
She had once known before
Even as the creature she was
She could still feel such a thing
Such a power the love creature was
A hold beyond time
Beyond words
Alas,
She became one with the building
The ivy vines that wrapped about her
She welcomed the homely feeling
They gave over her
Like a lovers embrace
She really longed for
She was the forgotten one
Doomed to be alone
Perhaps she will be here
As such forever more
Such a sad story she would tell
Should she return as her willow way
A simple grove of
Swaying branches upon a breeze
Even that would remind her
Of dear caresses so
For now
This forgotten lover
Shall slumber so
In ivy wrapped closely around her so
