the endless, tiny lights that clutter all around the horizon extend forever, and the cold thick wind laps at my face that hangs out the window, my fingers clasping the car.
My eyes squint as I look out, the land around me stretching out for miles, red and green lights flashing around me, cars zooming by.
It's endless, as I watch the cluttered horizon full of twinkling dainty lights disappear behind tall buildings full of windows that all individually shone a different shade of peach.
The radio was washed out by the sound of the strong yet soft wind that pushed my hair behind my face so I got a clear view of the city.
It's silent but all too loud, and I'm happy.
