𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱

𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗛𝗜𝗦 jaw clenched and knuckles white. I've never seen him so angry or closed-off before. I've never actually seen him angry before at all.

My foot tapped anxiously with my fingers bouncing along my thigh. "So what now? He's coming after me?" I asked breaking the deadly silence. I so should've stayed home with Ash.

Edward looked over at me for a second, relaxing his shoulders. "James is a tracker. The hunt is his obsession. I read his mind," I swallowed taking in his words. "My reaction on the field set him off. I just made this the most exciting game ever."

Yeah, thanks for that.

"So basically he's not gonna stop until I'm dead right?" He looked at me with eyes that told me I was right. I nodded with a heavy sigh, "so what do we do?"

What happens to my dad and Bella? If he's a tracker he can figure out where I live right? Will he hurt them?

"We have to kill him. Rip him apart and burn the pieces."

I nodded. "Oh, that's nice," I watched the turn he took. That's not the way back home. "Where are we going?" He ignored me. "Edward!"

"We can't stay here."

I scoffed, "yes we can. I have to go home first." He still ignored me still driving. "Edward, I'm serious! Take me home. I swear to god if something happens to my family I will hate you forever!"

"I'm sorry."

I sat up, looking at him. "No! Please. I can't leave him without a goodbye. Please," I begged. Edward looked at me for a moment before he made a hard u-turn.

I laid back in my seat and stared out the window.

We got to my house and he stepped on the brake. "Hurry up," he said getting out of the car. I undid my seatbelt and got out of the car. Edward was already gone upstairs to my room.

I took in a deep breath before running inside. Dad heard my heavy and fast footsteps.

"How was it?"

I swallowed all the pain away, "I gotta go." I pushed past him.

"What? Elizabeth?" He followed me upstairs. Bella came out of her room.

"I can't stay here anymore dad! I thought I wanted a normal life, but I don't. It's not for me," I slammed my bedroom door closed.
