Chapter fifteen: Nightstand Presents

I walk back to my dorm after a long day full of classes. I am exhausted. I see something laying on my nightstand. Two pumpkin pasties wrapped with a note around them: 

Can we talk, please? - DM 

What is he thinking. Does he think I will come back to him like a dog after he gives me two pasties? No way! And why do he wants to talk? Last time it looked as if he had lost his tongue.

It is evening. I walk through the hall to go to the library. I have to study for a test. I can see Draco coming from the other side of the hall. I turn around and quickly walk in another direction. "Zara, wait!", I hear him yelling, but I don't answer him. I walk through another hall to the library.

I have a lot to catch up on. I study hard all evening. Around 11 p.m. I walk out of the library. I think I know all the subject matter and am ready for tomorrow's test.

When I arrive in my dorm I see something on my nightstand again. What a surprise.. I open the box and there is a bracelet in it. It is gold plated, with green diamonds. Really pretty, he got taste. There is also a little note, of course: 

I really need to talk to you. I miss you Zara - DM

It is a really pretty bracelet, I cannot deny that. But I am not going to wear it and I'm not going to talk to him at all. Stupid boy with his stupid lies.

The test went really well. I am walking out of the classroom with  Neville. He wanted to show me his plants. So we go to his plant collection. Neville is a sweet boy with a heart of gold. I see Draco peeking in through the window. He is looking at my wrist. When he doesn't see the bracelet on my wrist, he throws the window closed with a loud bang out of frustration. 

Neville is shocked by the loud bang. I put my hand on his shoulder "It's ok, show me your plants". He smiles and talks about his plants. It is cute, he has a big passion for plants.
