"I hate you Ishita, I hate you for what you have done to me. Why did you do this! I thought you loved me! Is this is what you call love?"

The words kept echoing in Ishita's ears as if a deadly nightmare. It was deadly but it was the nightmare of her real life.

She couldn't remember a single night where she slept peacefully for the last three years.

Watching him standing in front of her after all these years looking more handsome than ever made her wounds fresh.

He was laughing with others but Ishita could detect the change in him. His expression were guarded and his eyes had lost the warmth. It was all because of her. All because of her fault.

She realised she had been staring for too long because those blue eyes were now staring straight at her with the stony look. It shook her apart to see so much hatred one could hold.

"Hello Ishita" His handsome face twitched into a bitter smile. It was clear he was unhappy to see her.

"Hi Shravan" Ishita could barely whisper.

"Long time, isn't it?" He cocked his head and raised an eyebrow.

Ishita didn't reply. She was scared of his hidden anger for her. She just started at the ground and bite her lip.

"So you must have heard the news?" He asked uninterested.

"Yes" She replied softly.

"You must be overly excited, after all you are getting what you want even after everything" He accused her and Ishita saw his face seething with anger.

It brought tears in her eyes. Her sweet Shravan was lost. She was nothing to him now.

"Don't try to fool me with these tears. Have been once but not again." He gestured with his hands.

"I don't have a choice you know!" Ishita shouted after all the accusations.

"Of course! See you at the wedding day soon to be wifey!" Shravan said sarcastically. He turned on his heels and left as soon as possible. He didn't want to stay with her. His heart would betray him if he stayed longer. Ishita let the tears escape.

She had no choice. Their fathers had decided from an early age that Ishita and Shravan were to be married. It would bring power to their business.

Despite being a business deal, Ishita and Shravan had brought love out of it. They had been childhood sweethearts but till the unfortunate event happened something that nobody was prepared to say a word about it.
