It was a clear sunny day, one could hear the branches on the trees dance as they sway with the wind, one could hear the song that the birds were singing it was a magnificent song, one could hear the sounds of the world if they stay still, if they stayed quiet, and if they listened....One could hear the heartbeat of the earth beneath them.

There was one such man doing these things he was on top of a tower overlooking what looked to be a school yard, the man had white hair, glasses, in one hand a mug filled with cocoa and a cane in the other. This man was known as Professor Ozpin, he was the headmaster of a prestigious School known as Beacon Academy, it was a known fact that if one wanted to become a successful as well as famous, one would go to Beacon Academy. However, the school was unlike any other school in this world the lands are infested with beasts known as Grimm, and so to combat these demons of darkness they created what was known as hunters and huntresses, it was their soul job to seek out the destruction of these monsters as well as help out people in need.

The school year had only recently started, the professor was leaning against his desk looking at one of the many windows he was admiring the school grounds he had worked so hard to build up over many many years, he was in a calm state of mind everything was going fine. Although, his calm soon turned into confusion, the sky that he was admiring started to turn green with hints of yellow every now and then, it looked like the aurora borealis but this phenomenon covered the entire globe. That was when something caught the headmaster's eye, there was something falling out of the sky, it was engulfed with the same light the sky had become, the strange object soon crashed into the forest known as forever fall. Ozpin was afraid, he thought that this was some kind of new weapon from "her", but he couldn't send out anybody since the school year had really only started and if he sent down a team of students he would receive backlash, not from the other headmasters no but from the students themselves. That was then he got an idea, there was a particular student that he was intrigued with, the student had eyes like no other, she was special but he knew we can't send her alone so he decided to send her team and another team with them, alas both teams are only first years. He came up with a second thought he would send another team of second years along with the two a team of second years that way the first two teams could get experience in the field but they would also be protected with the second year's watching over them. But he remembered that all second year teams were currently on a joint mission exploring Mistral. He would just have the two go on their owns then.

The headmaster called in his assistant, Glynda Goodwitch. Ozpin told her about his plan, she was surprised, he wanted to send out two teams of first years and accompany them was only a team of second years. She asked "but professor we should send out Qrow, why should we send out those two teams?" He responded in a calm but meaningful tone "I want to see what Miss Rose can do with those eyes of hers, if she can do anything with them that is and plus this will serve for good experience for both teams." Glynda respond in a worried tone "but sir they don't have any real experience dealing with these kind of things." To which he laughed "these children are more than capable of taking care of themselves you saw the initiation feed they were right next to me, they are more than ready for this it is merely a scouting mission, now if you would, please get the teams." Glynda nodded and left to fetch the teams.

Ruby Rose along with the rest of her team were enjoying lunch although they were not alone, along with them was team JNPR. School had already been session for about a week they were all still getting to know each other, as they were talking among themselves the lunchroom doors open revealing one Glynda Goodwitch, she walked over to the three teams and told them that professor Ozpin wanted to speak to all of them.
