The Viper arrived at the scene, the only evidence of the threat being a half eaten corpse and the fallen frost giant's corpse. Carter stood in front of the half eaten corpse, he was dispatched as a part of the cleanup crew. Something about the sight of the corpse gave made him curious. If this thing wanted to eat, then why didn't it just attack everyone? It could've had much more prey... Carter and a fellow crew mate picked up the body and placed it into a bag. What drove it to hone in on this person? Carter walked over to the giant's corpse, observing it. It has been dead for at least thirty minutes, whoever did this has to at least be level 20. That or they had some wild techniques. Carter just barely heard a whisper behind him, in the same tone as that day. "...behind you" Carter turned quickly and saw approaching slowly somewhat in the distance, a tall figure holding something close to their chest and wearing a mask. Carter couldn't help but wonder what they were holding, before quickly turning to alert his superiors. Something about this person felt intimidating, and he would rather not greet them.

Gyro was holding the baby in his arms, walking steadily towards the helicopter. He had no other thought in mind as approaching, simply to return the child to her family. As he strode closer and closer to the helicopter he noticed two figures near the helicopter. They were standing steadily as if waiting. Gyro however say no reason in rushing, he didn't want to wake the baby after all.

Carter had run to the side of the helicopter, looking for one of his superiors who had been set out to "patrol the perimeter." As far as Carter was concerned however, they were simply lazing around. Within moments someone fitting the bill entered his line of sight. "Miss Chronos!" Carter projected outwards catching her attention.
She turned and faced him, her stoic expression outlining her annoyance. "What is it?"
Carter took a moment to think about his choice of words. Lyra Chronos, Carter didn't know much about her, other then her position as one of the heads of the viper. He had seen pictures of her before, her blonde bob cut, those yellow eyes housing pupils shaped like hourglasses, and her lean stature placing her around 5'5. From the pictures he'd seen he never would've guessed she would be the type to radiate such intensity. He had decided it best to be straightforward. "I saw someone approaching the helicopter ma'am."
Lyra's face seemed to soften for a moment, as her curiosity poked through but quickly hardened once more. "Take me to them."~
Gyro had reached the edge of the helicopter. Upon getting closer he started to recognize one of the figures waiting for him. Lyra Chronos, one of the heads of the Viper guild. He had never met her in person before today, and would love to have a chat with her. However, he had business to attend to after this encounter. He showed them Kira, gently making sure not to stir her from her sleep. Gyro went on to whisper. "Her father died fighting that creature, by the time I arrived it appears to have bled out and he was on his dying breaths."
Lyra loosened at the sight of a child and dropped her voice to a whisper as well. "I see." Carter watched as Gyro handed over the baby slowly and carefully.
Carter spoke. "With all due respect do we have time to deal with returning a lost child to their family?" Carter felt the gaze of Lyra and Gyro train on him. Everything seemed to suddenly go quite as Lyra stared into Carter.
"Rookie this is a child," Lyra's voice hardened. "not just a child but a baby. If you expect us to leave a defenseless child behind, you have the wrong idea about our guild. If that's the case, you would be better off quitting." Carter bit his tongue. But he still couldn't accept that. We aren't glorified babysitter's, we're warriors. Who cares if a baby dies? We need to kill monsters to prevent the deaths of others not lounge around!
Gyro cleared his throat to bring an end to the rising tensions. "Please get her to her family, I would help but I really must be on my way now."
"I wish you luck in your travels. But, and pardon me for asking, what is your name?"
Gyro whispered a name which only reached Lyra before disappearing into the shadows once more."The Boogeyman" graced Lyra's ears as if a whisper among the winds. The Boogeyman huh?~
A lonesome guard stood against a snow covered building, the day was tough, he needed a break. He tapped against his cigarette carton before opening it, he didn't know why he did that, it was quite possibly just habit at this point. He pulled a cigarette out, the box contained two more he muttered as he saw this. "I'll have to buy more when I get out of this god awful place." He stuck the cigarette in his mouth, he ran his hands through his pocket looking for his lighter. "You have to be in here somewhere..." The guard paused, he suddenly felt as if he was being watched. He looked around letting his left hand wrap around the revolver hung at his waist. "Who's there?" He called into the snow covered area around him. He heard the bushes rustle not too far from him and swiftly drew his gun. The magnum in his hand he shouted. "This is your final warning! If you don't come out now with your hands up I will shoot!" As the officer pulled his gun the rustling stopped. He walked forward cautiously, keeping eye of his surroundings and closing the distance between him and the bushes. As he stood all but feet away, a rabbit darted out of the bushes, startling the guard. He fell off balance and landed in the snow. The cold greeted him as he laughed. "It was just a rabbit huh? I really am tense..." He stood up and dusted himself off before holstering his gun and returning to position. He put the cigarette back in his mouth and continued to search for his lighter before he heard a gravelly voice. "Need a light?"
"Sure, thank you." The guard said instinctively before he realized, he had never heard this voice before. The guard started to turn towards the voice. He saw standing before him a slender figure, tall and distorted, seemingly standing with the shadows. The guard tried to pull out his gun, but he felt himself shaking uncontrollably before falling backwards once more. "You're the..." The figure let out a cackle which ran the guard's blood cold. The guard watched in terror as the figure removed it's mask. The guard stared into it's face for a moment or two, he felt nauseous, and before he knew it, he was out cold.

Gyro stood over the unconscious guard, he needed to work quickly, any moment his fellow guards would come outside to check on him. He first removed his clothes, instead wrapping him in a few blankets. He picked the guard up, he considered his options carefully. On one hand he could teleport him onto the roof, but that would risk him being seen by those coming in on aircraft. Gyro also figured he could hide him in a dumpster for the time being, however a fellow guard may find him. Gyro chose the latter. I'll be down quickly enough, they won't find him, and he likely won't wake up before I've fled the scene. As soon as Gyro hid the guard in the dumpster he started to change out of his clothes, and into the guard's gear. He would also go on to use a bit of illusion magic to make his body and voice fit that of the guard. It was nearly perfect! However now Gyro had to use his limited knowledge of the guard to impersonate his personality. Even if only for a short while, if people start to get suspicious then Gyro has already failed. Gyro quickly returned to where the guard was standing, quickly pretended to smoke simply to get the smell to linger on him, and used the guard's ID to continue inside.
