Daniel is someone that is very difficult to understand and he has a different way to how he portrays himself to others especially towards y/n. Zach really doesn't want y/n to fall under Daniel...

All writing material in this story are all from me. I didn't steal any ideas from anyone. Hope you love this story as much as I do. Also just a quick note when I write I would like if you played a song while reading, the reason for that is the music makes it more connected, and the song is meaningful. Theirs a reason why I pick a certain song. I usually post these on Instagram with a song already in the background, but if you prefer not to that is okay, but the song I chosen is called dazed and confused by Ruel and while you're reading it's good to remember the lyrics from the song or the title and how the song makes sense with the text, or understand the sense to why I chosen it. Daniel is very confusing, he is caring one minute and then says something cold and feels like it's heartless. Does he mean how he says things ?.. Will y/n be the first person hes been "dazed and confused" about. Dazed and confused is how y/n feels about Daniel. 8 letters is also a song that describes Daniel in this story.

~ I was at a sorority house and shared a house with Christina and a few other girls but not many. I was friends with Corbyn because of Christina. He invited me over to their house to hang out. Christina wants us all to get along and be friends too. Christina's been my friend for 3 years we both got into the same sorority, she has always been there for me and it's both our dreams to become psychologists together I start walking to the door, Christina lightly grabs my arm and gives me a mom look "be nice" "Fine mom." I didn't want to argue and for the sake of our friendship, It doesn't need to end because I couldn't get along with her boyfriend and his friends.
I tell Christina I was going now, then she does a weird wink and does it 20 times with each eye. I had a confusion expression on my face. i didn't understand what she was doing "Uhhh is their something wrong with your umm eye? Do you want me to see if theirs an eyelash or something??" She got frustrated winks again and smiles "don't have too much fun.. I have a feeling you will end up with 1 out of 4" I shake my head fast "noooo no no. I'm not gonna date any of them" I leave with a disgusted look on my face
~ At the boys house I was talking to the boys and we all were sitting on the air mattresses on the floor with a bunch of blankets. Me and zach were both sitting "criss cross applesauce" the movie Bambi ended up playing. I never fully talked to Daniel before I mostly talked to Corbyn and Zach because they were the ones I felt most comfortable with, I got to know more about.
I talked to the other boys and got to know them, we ended up starting a conversation about height, I don't recall who started it but Daniel wasn't really talking at all to me but only observing me. I said looking down playing with your hands "I don't know I think I'm like 5"1" Daniel looks at me smiles and shakes his head "no you aren't 5"1, you're like 5"3 trust me. I would know" I looked at him confused "what do you mean?" Daniel smirks "we used to go to school together and you would always follow me around the school when I would walk with my friends and we had gym together" I was even more confused "what? We haven't been to school together-" he says cutting me off "because I changed it" he looks down and looks at me. I only had one crush and his name was Tyson and I moved so I never saw him again and you look at him confused and shook your head
"wait you're Tyson? You don't even look like him at all? But- you .. you had a different last name and first name-"
you were trying to comprehend every cringe thing you've done in high school
"I always used a different name in schools just for fun and glow ups do happen.."
you looked at him so confused "pfft don't flatter yourself I didn't like you my friend did.." you pushed his shoulder
Daniel looks into your eyes "you're 5"3"
you sit back and you're completely confused on what just happened.. in your head you were thinking "oh yeah like you know everyone's height that had a crush on you are you some kind of wizard? You fuck" You tried to focus back on the movie. Corbyn and Zach looked at you and they both asked "you okay?" His presence makes him seem like he hated you
You smile "yeah I'm fine uh Zach can you come with me outside please? You wanna go for a walk?"
you say that while standing up Zach nods and stands up "sure"
Daniel and Corbyn also stands up
"uh just Zach.."
you mostly said that towards Daniel, you look at Corbyn and whispered "come out in 5 and I love baby ducks "
Corbyn smiles and you both laugh and he says "okay "
he hugs you and he checked his watch meanwhile you and Zach walk outside and Daniel doesn't have any expression on his face he had the remote and he watched you both walk out and he looked at Corbyn and Corbyn acted like everything was alright he smiled and he sat down and watched the movie.
Jack says out of awkwardness "who even put this on? Zach" he laughs
Daniel looks at the tv and puts his hand on his cheek and holds it "no y/n chose it"

Corbyn sits criss cross and he says "criss cross apple sauce"
he smiles and then he looks up and sees them all looking at him "what? I'm so used to Zach and y/n saying it"
After he said that, they all started doing it in Synce
