A/N: It's another long chapter by the way.
Percy's pov
After dinner the eighteen of us went to go talk and play some games in the Zeus cabin. About two hours later all of us got up and headed to the campfire, where we would be talking about our next quest. The one about the Second Titan war. I am not really ready to talk about this one yet because I lost a lot of my friends and I really don't want to admit to them that they die in the future.
When we reached the fire we sat down. I looked around and saw campers filing in from all directions. Once all the campers were seated Chiron went up to the front. He stomped his hoof and got all of the campers attention.
"Children, please be very respectful while the children from the future talk about their next quest. Now you may take it away," Chiron said, at the last part he looked at me.
"Um ok, so this one takes one year after the quest we talked about at dinner. Rachel and I were driving to a ridge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. When we were there, Rachel revealed that her father was trying to get her to go to a finishing school, Clarion Ladies Academy, and that she did not want to go. Rachel asked if I had decided whether I would go with her and her family for vacation or not. Before I could answer, Blackjack, my pegasus, landed on the hood of the car with Charles Beckendorf on his back. Beckendorf announced that it was time for them to take out the Princess Andromeda. Rachel kissed me on the cheek and wished me good luck. Charles and I left on Blackjack soon after. In good humor, Beckendorf stated that the kiss might be better left a secret to Annabeth to which I agreed. The two of us saw the ship and snuck onto it. A telkhine saw us, but was killed before he could sound the alarm. Then we set Greek fire explosives in the engine room. I left the room to distract the monsters on the ship, and I told Beckendorf to meet me at the air pad once he was done." I said while looking down at my feet. This part was weird to talk about because Rachel had kissed me, and because I knew that I had to talk about Beckendorf sacrificing his life for me next.
"I was captured and brought before Luke, who was now housing Kronos from the events of the Labyrinth. The Titan dueled me for the fun of it, and he mentioned a spy in camp. A few minutes later, Beckendorf appeared all bloody and bruised with half his shirt torn off. It was revealed that all the other explosives were already in place and there would be no time to escape the ship once they exploded. This was realized by the enemy forces a moment too late as Beckendorf had made it look like he was only about to plant the bombs when he got captured. Charles silently convinced me to flee, but I refused to leave him behind. Suddenly, a dracaena noticed the trigger on Beckendorf's arm, which was his watch. Beckendorf moved to detonate the bomb, leaving me no choice but to jump ship. I jumped off and willed the currents to speed me far away. The ship exploded, and I blacked out, thinking only of Beckendorf." I said, tears pricking the corners of my eyes. Annabeth gave my hand a firm squeeze and kissed my temple. I finally looked over at past Beckendorf and the pain was just there in the pit of my stomach. I took a deep breath and started talking again.
"I dreamed as I drifted unconscious through the ocean. my dream took place on Mount Othrys during a conversation between Krios and Hyperion. The two Titans talked of their plans to destroy Mount Olympus. After they concluded their conversation, the scene shifted. I saw Nico eavesdropping on the Titans as well. Nico then asked me how exactly I intended to defeat the Titans without a former plan before I came back to consciousness. I realized that I was in Poseidon's kingdom, Atlantis, and was being tended to by my half-brother, Tyson. Tyson then lead me to my dad's throne room, where I met my father's wife and godly son, Amphitrite and Triton, who respectively do not like me very much. Poseidon then informed me that he was battling Oceanus. He confirmed my fears when he told me that Beckendorf did not survive, but also reassured me that Beckendorf did not die in vain and that our little expedition had bought time for the Olympians. Before he sent me on my way, he stated that I must return to Camp Half-Blood to fulfill the rest of the prophecy, yes the Great Prophecy." I say, all the campers mouths dropped when I said the last two words.
