1 week goes by and we're allowed to take our baby home.
I'd have to same the first week was the hardest all Raquel did was cry and not sleep so neither did we.

I grab my keys and pick up Raquel bringing him with me to work as there is a kindergarten area in the hospital I take him too while I work.
"Morning." I say to the receptionist
"Good morning Avery." She says smiling at me
I walk into my office and seat down as I look over my paperwork.
"Hello." A little girl says walking into my office smiling
"Hello." I say
She sits down on the bed and I crouch down in front of her as I ask what's wrong
"So what's the issue." I ask
"I keep getting stomach pain." She says
I feel her stomach and she winces and I look at her confused as I notice a bruise on her rib.
"What happened here." I say
"Ugh nothing." She says getting up as a mean looking guy walks into my office.
"Melody hurry the fuck up." He says
"Excuse me don't you talk to her that way." I say angrily as I cross my arms
"Don't do that miss." She says
The guy walks Upto the kid and yanks her but I grab hold of her arm and pull her behind me.
"What the fuck is your problem." He says walking Upto me and standing angrily
"You." I say
He slaps my face and I wince but as soon as he lifts his hand back I punch him in the face and his nose bleeds.
