Chapter One: After The Divorce

I woke up and sighed rolling over on my side when I noticed someone pulling a tail out of sight from the corner of my eye and I smiled
as I sat up and pretended to
be scared RAWR my 4 year old son Romeo yelled jumping
into my lap "did I
scare ya mama huh did I" he
asked, his fox tail wagging
behind him yeah ya sure
did I said with a smile
as I pulled him into my lap mama have you been crying about daddy again he asked placing his hands on my cheeks "don't worry mama all you
need to be happy is
me" he said, yeah your
right I said with
a soft smile
as Romeo pressed his
head against mine
okay we should get ready we
got errands to run I said okay mama he said jumping off the bed and ran down to his room and I got up and followed him to his room to
help him get changed "hey Romeo do you want to pick out your own clothes today" I asked, yeah Romeo yelled okay do you think you can get changed on your own while mommy takes
a shower I asked erm hm
he said with a smile alright
if you need any help
just come get me I said okay

over to his dresser
and started rummaging through clothes while I went back to my room to
take a shower once I got back to my room I walked into the
bathroom turned on the
shower and got in
to the warm water
when I
heard the door open mommy

I asked i need help tying
my shoes he said okay
I'll be out in a minute I
said as I finished
washing all the conditioner from my hair then wrapped a towel around myself and got out of the shower
and got down on one knee
so I could help Romeo tie his shoes so what do you think mama do you like what I'm wearing Romeo asked yeah you look really cute Romeo I said kissing his forehead as I picked him
up as I sat him down on the bed and grabbed something to wear from the closet and quickly got
changed then we
left the house.

better at my illusions Romeo
said making an illusion
of a small fox and I
smiled as it jumped onto my
shoulder and rubbed it's little
face against my cheek
that's really good Romeo
I said as it disappeared and we continued to walk around stores mama can we get a cake Romeo asked tugging on my hoodie I don't see why not I said as I looked down at all
the cakes they had.

I was standing next to my
mama as she looked at all the cakes in the store when I noticed red feathers fly past the window whoa I thought
as I walked out of the
cake shop and started to
run after them mama will love
them I thought "hey
come back" I
said, as I continued to
run after them not even noticing the car heading toward me when someone suddenly picked me up whoa kid I know my feathers are cool and
all but ya need to be more careful don't want you to get hit by a car now do we a man with blonde hair and a pair of red wings on his back said "sorry I wanted to catch one for my mama
she would have liked it I said as he
set me down cause mama
got in a bad divorce with my
daddy and I thought this would help her stop crying I said
with a sad
smile as I held the feather in
my hand and tears welled up in
my eyes mama does so much for me even after just recently
being added
to the top pro hero list she
still makes time for me even
though she's always tired when
ever she gets home
I said your mama sounds like a pretty cool lady he said with a smile as he ruffled my hair yeah my mama's
really pretty to I said with a smile
when I saw mama dash
past us MAMA I yelled with a smile when she ran over and hugged me tightly Mama I said where did you
go she asked tears
welling up in
her eyes "do you even know how worried I was" she said, shaking me "i-i-i-im sorry mama" I said,
it's okay just please never do
it again mama said as
she hugged me.

After paying for the cake
i turned around to see
that Romeo was gone
Romeo I said running
out of the cake
shop and every
where trying
to find him
when I heard him
call me and I came to
a quick stop and ran over
and hugged him
"where did you go" i asked, tears
welling up in my eyes "i-i-i-im sorry mama" he said,
it's okay just please never do
it again i said hugging him um thank you for watching him I said turning around to who ever helped my son.

(Hawk's P.o.v)
After saving this kid and listening to what he had to say about his mom
and I smiled at him as i ruffled his hair your mama sounds like a
pretty cool lady i said when something dashed past me and the kid Mama the Kid yelled and we both watched as it came to a sudden stop then ran
toward the kid and tackled him in
a hug "where did you go"
the figure asked, i-i-i-im sorry
Mama the kid said
this beautiful young women is his
mom I thought staring at her body up and down she's pretty young
to have a kid I thought when she
turned to me thank you so much for watching him I don't know
what I would have
done if something happened to
him she said with a soft smile
don't mention it he actually

of you I said ruffling his
hair whoa I never thought we'd see Hawks and the real Trixx in the same place the people around us
said so her hero name
is Trixx huh wonder why
she chose that to be her hero
name I thought as I
watched people run up

she said oh is this your

down at the kid I'm
Romeo and I'm a fox just like my mommy he said then he turned me hey Mr. are you birdie he asked
and smiled at him

I noticed her look at me with a
soft smile on her face Mama the kid yelled yes what she said looking at her son did you get the cake he
asked shoot no I payed for it
but I left it and came looking for
you I'm sorry she said
"it's okay" Mama
he said, and she sighed as
she looked back at me it was nice meeting you um Hawks her son said right Hawks I'm sorry I haven't been getting much sleep lately anyway we should get going say bye

if you know his name why
do you keep calling him Birdie she asked because he Birdie
he said okay then
she said as her and her
son walked out
of view she was
an interesting
one to bad I
didn't get her real name I thought with a smirk as I flew off.

(Back to Kona)
After me and Romeo got home
I started to make dinner for the both
of us then I gave Romeo
a bath and we
went straight to
bed at least
I tried to I still couldn't stop
thinking about the divorce
which made tears stream
down my face it's
all my fault I'm the reason he
left I thought bringing my legs up
to my chest as I cried
into my pillow
until I eventually
fell asleep.
