A/N: Here's where things go a bit off script. We're now getting into what would technically be S3 Ep10 of Teen Wolf. But, like I said in the last chapter I'm changing things up a bit. So, sit down, relax and enjoy this next chapter.

S3 Ep10 "The Overlooked"

Scene 34: Under the Limelight

3rd Person POV

Two women were taking a nightly stroll through the forest of Beacon Hills. One was named Jennifer Blake and the other, Esther Mikaelson.

"Thank you so much for helping me with this."

"Oh, it's no problem, Jennifer. We're both benefiting from it. You, with these sacrifices and me, ultimately destroying my children's lives." Even though Esther is technically supposed to be dead she's still somehow able to move and communicate through spirit.

Jennifer chuckled quietly to herself. "Yes, it does seem like we make quite an amazing team, doesn't it?"

"Quite so, Miss. Blake." Esther laughed.

The moment then turned abruptly serious when the vampire brought up something Jennifer hadn't quite thought of.

"Have you by chance thought of including Kol or Elijah in your ritual?"

Jennifer gave Esther a questioning look. "Are they your sons?" She asked.

The woman sighed and said, "Yes, I'm afraid so. I just thought that with you only having one guardian to sacrifice you might as well take Kol and Elijah to serve as two more."

A couple seconds of silence engulfed the two women when Jennifer hesitantly replied, "While that is brilliant, Esther, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to decline."

"And why's that?"

"Well, it's not because I don't want to. It's just..." The woman was subjected to silence as she didn't know quite how to respond.

"Ahh, I see. You're afraid of Briar, aren't you?" Esther, the psycho maniac that she was, laughed amusedly.

"W-what? How did you-"

"She is very scary, isn't she? A girl no older than 16 in love with a stupid mutt. A girl who loves cuddles and hot chocolate in the winter and smoothies and swimming in the summer. You're afraid of her?"

"Yes, that would be correct." Jennifer soon came to realize just how stupid it actually sounded.

Esther couldn't help but cackle. "Itty bitty Briar Mikaelson is who you're afraid of? Why that's the funniest thing I've ever heard!"

"Well, aren't you scared of her too?!" Jennifer bit back.

"Of my youngest daughter?" Esther chuckled. "Not at all!"

After a couple seconds Jennifer Blake came to a decision. "Well then. Let's do it."

The vampire gave Jennifer a flabbergasted look. "You really want to kidnap and sacrifice my two sons?"

"Of course. Why else would I agree?"

"Alright, Jen. Follow me." And with that the two women teleported away to the one place nobody was ever safe.

Mystic Falls, Virginia.
