Divergent: A no war sequel

9. The grand opening

~Tris POV~

Me and Christina walk back to our apartment. I get changed into my pajamas and put my dressing gown on. I sit on the sofa and turn the TV on. I end up watching a program called 'Doctor Who' iypt is about 200 years old and the special effects are awful but the storyline is quite good. About 5 minutes later Christina joins me. We watch the program until it finishes and then she pounced on me.

"When did you, you know, do it?" She asks full of curiosity, typical candor. I blush

"Well, you know I had that sleepover last night." She looks at me

"Well that's great, I think I will have to you know with Will soon. I  can't be the only virgin in our group." I laugh.

We turn the program on again and it is a new episode. I get us a bowl of popcorn each. Once the program finishes we go to bed.

*The next day*

I get up, have a shower and get dressed in my 'uniform' and put on my make-up. I curl my hair and pin a bit back with the bow. I walk into the kitchen and get myself a coffee. Christina then comes in and inspects me. I make is both a coffee and pour them in to black coffee flasks. We take them with us and go get breakfast.

When we get to the dining hall we grab muffins and sit on our table, Tobias, Mar and Lynn are there. There is no sign of Will, Uri, Zeke or Shauna. We eat. Once wehave eaten I pull put my phone, it's 9:34.

"We better go." I motion to the girls and we get up and leave, we see Zeke and Uri come in.

Once we get in to the shop we finish final touches and at ten on the dot we open our doors to members of dauntless to shop for the first time. Loads of people come in and start browsing. We soon make our first sale, a top for 19 credits.

You got credits every time you worked, different amounts for where you ranked in initiation and what you I worked as. For working in the shop for one day I got 100 credits, Lynn and Mar get 95 and Christina gets 90. We then can to use the credits to buy anything we want. I think it is a bit unfair to base pay on where you ranked in initiation but I can't do anything about it.

After we lock up for the day we decide to celebrate. I text everyone and tell them to meet us at the restaurant in two hours. It was going to be a five way date, and we were finally going to meet Lynn's boyfriend.

Me and Christina go and get ready. We had already chosen our dress from the shop, by owning it we got our clothes from our shop free. We had to still pay in other shops though. I wore a black lacey dress and slip ons, you could see all my tattoos, even the one on my foot. I re-do my make-up and recurl my hair, I clip it back with black roses. I look in the mirror, I no longer look like a young abnegation who went by the name of Beatrice. I was Tris, dauntless through and through.
