Hide and Seek (Chris x Carrie)

Okay, so I read a Chris x Carrie story by the_apex_predator , and at the end it seemed like they were playing hide and seek, it was so cute! So this is heavily inspired by that :)

Carrie giggled as she crawled through the long grass, heading towards a thick oak tree. She wasn't hiding, she was seeking. But she had a plan. She would climb up the tree and stay there, Chris would think she went back inside and come out looking for her, then, when the time was right, she would jump down from the tree and scare Chrissy! How could it go wrong? This plan was perfect! She giggled as she climbed up the tree, gasping at a family of birds. "Hey there, little birdies! Whats your name?" She whispered to the much larger bird of the three. "You must be the mama!" She whispered. A branch snapped, but Carrie didn't fall. "I better climb higher, I don't want this branch to collapse!" She said. "Bye, birdies!" She called, climbing up the tree. When she got to the middle, she stopped. "Perfect." She mumbled. She giggled and kicked her legs. She started dozing off, her eyelids fluttering. She saw Chris, but her vision was fading, she was falling asleep. The next thing she knew, she was falling. She screamed. She was gonna die. But then,
"CARRIE!"
It was Chris, she had caught her. "What were you thinking?! You could have DIED." She said.
"I'm sorry, Chrissy.. I wanted to scare you...I had a plan so I could win.."
"It's okay, baby.." she mumbled, kissing every single freckle on Carrie's beautiful face. "Chris?" Carrie mumbled into the crook of her neck. "Yes, my darling?" Chris said.
"..love you.." She whispered, falling back asleep.
"I love you too, my darling, my angel, my everything." Chris whispered as she combed a hand through Carrie's hair.
