I've been writing a lot of Jack Dunkleman, my bad guys XD

I hope you enjoy

I sat on the ledge of the roof of my apartment building, listening to music. My feet dangled off the edge of the fifty story building, and I smiled at the view. Because of my music, I didn't notice a specific and rather significant build covered in red and black spandex land on the roof behind me. Spider-Man climbed onto the ledge next to me, and I smiled at him, taking out one of my ear plugs.

He said, "You aren't thinking about jumping, are you?"

I laughed, and said, "No, not really. I just like coming up here. People don't usually come up here, you're basically the first person to find me up here."

I smiled at him, and reached into my backpack, pulling out a Kit Kat. I said, "So, what brings you here? And do you want a Kit Kat?"

He laughed, and said, "Yeah, I'll take a Kit Kat. And I just saw you up here, and wanted to make sure you weren't thinking about jumping. It's been a relatively quiet night. Stop a shoplifter, and then just swung around the city for about twenty minutes."

I snapped off two wafers, handing them to the hero, and said, "That's good, isn't it? Crime rates have been dropping significantly since you showed up."

"Yeah, they have. I'm really glad about that, because it means that I'm definitely doing something right." He pulled his mask up to his nose, biting into the chocolate. I smiled as I looked at the people walking on the sidewalk, and looked back at Spider-Man. I could tell that he was to the younger side, around my age.

I said, "Hey, I'm sorry about everything J.J. Jameson's been saying. He's my uncle. I try to get him to cut it out, but he never really listens to me, insisting that you're a menace. I don't even know why he says that."

The whites of his mask widened, and he said, "JJJ is your uncle?"

I nodded sheepishly, and he said, "Don't worry about it. I'm not in this for the fame. The press can say whatever they want about me. It doesn't bother me."

I smiled, and then wondered what he meant by he isn't in it for the fame. I said, "Hey, mind if I ask something?"

He looked at me, and nodded. I asked, "Why do you do this? I mean, why do you go out and save all these people and keep your identity a secret? I figure that you're around my age because of your voice, and most people my age would kill to be recognized as a superhero."

"Well, you're smart, I'll give you that. And you're right, I am around your age. Still in highschool, actually. I have lost basically everyone in my life. I only have one blood relative in my life left. I do this, because, well, every day I'm out here, swinging around, I am helping people. I've saved lives, saved virtue, stopped people from doing something that they'd regret, stopped people from getting hurt. I do all of this because I know what pain is. Not just physical, but mental and emotional, as well. I get bullied, daily, but I let it happen. Because I know that I can take it. But I can't stand the idea of others going through what I did. What I do."

I put my hand over Spider-Man's, and softly said, "I know what it feels like. The only person I have left in my life is my uncle. I may not get bullied, but I used to."

He looked down at me, and said, "I'm sorry if I hit a sensitive spot."

I smiled up at him, and said, "It's okay."

He lifted his hand up to his mask, and pulled it off. I let out a little gasp, and said, "Are you sure?"

He nodded, and looked at me so I could see him clearly. He had intelligent chocolatey eyes, curly brown hair, and a small smile. He said, "Hi, I'm Peter. Peter Parker."

I shook his outstretched hand, and said, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Peter. I'm (Y/N) (Y/L/N)."

"Pleasure's all mine." I pulled out my phone, opening Spotify, and played my favorite playlist. Superheroes by The Script started playing, and I offered an earplug to him, saying, "You want to listen?"

He took the earplug, and said, "What song's playing?"
