The rest of the day felt as if it went by quickly. In all of my classes, I felt as if I was being watched, but I think I was. If it wasn't Ethan, it was Grayson. Ethan watched me with curiosity in his eyes, but when Grayson watched me he seemed angry and annoyed. I didn't mind it too much, I was used to Xavier and Asher always watching over it. It felt kind of weird that it wasn't them, but I got used to it.
It was the end of the day and I laid on top of my brother's car in the parking lot as I wrote in my journal and played music. Normally, I'd go home then come back later for the game, but my car was still being fixed, so I rode with Asher. I prefer to ride with Asher, but sometimes I do wish I had my car.
I hear voices approaching and I assumed it was Asher, Xavier, and Joey. "Princess! You're still here!" I hear a voice say over my music. Ethan. I pull my earbud out my ear and sit up to look at him. I was surprised to see my brother standing beside him. He was eyeing Ethan for calling me princess, but he was still with him.
"Why would I leave? Asher is my ride home," I say. I didn't bother asking any questions because I wasn't sure I wanted to know.
"Good point, and if it's any consolation, I'm glad you're here," Ethan smiled. It wasn't his usual teasing smile, it was a genuine smile.
"What is this?" I ask pointing between them. "I thought you hated them?"
"Hate them? No. I just wanted an apology from Cameron. I had no problem with the rest of them, they were just too busy being alpha males and defending him," Asher answered.
"Says an Alpha male," I joke.
Asher laughs, "Yeah, well, he apologized. Everything's fine now. We just all had to calm down long enough to talk. It was also good to speak to Jackson again."
Ethan jumped in, "Yeah, imagine my surprise when I found out you know Jackson. You never said anything and neither did he."
"Because I don't know him," I said flatly.
"Well, not know him now. But knew him," Ethan corrects himself.
"I don't think I ever really knew him," I say jumping down from the car eager to change the subject. "You guys still have time before the game, don't you?"
"Yes. Why, what're you thinking?" Ethan asks.
Asher knew what I was thinking. We always go out to eat before his games. We always got a healthy meal before his games, then after we always went out to eat greasy food. It was a tradition for us. Our whole group usually went. Meaning, the rest of our group was probably at the diner already.
"Food," Me and Asher say at the same time.
"You want me to go out to eat with you guys?" Ethan sounded so shocked as if it was unbelievable I was even asking.
"We're inviting you to go out to eat with us and our friends," Asher started. He seemed as if he didn't want to finish when he said, "and your friends if you want."
Ethan slowly grinned, "What place?"
"Give me your phone, I'll send the address of the diner," I say holding my hand out for his phone. He hands it to me and I type in my number before sending myself a message. Then, I take my phone and send him the address and save his number.
"I'll go get the guys," Ethan jogs off in the direction of the courtyard.

An argument broke out when we told everyone Ethan and his friend were coming.
"What? You invited them here?!" Ellie exclaims.
