By the time Lizzie got to Viper, I was already three drinks ahead of her. Or was it four? I'm not sure. Lizzie chose a less provocative dress. She was dressed more casually than me. Legally we aren't supposed to be in a club or drinking. But Viper was so exclusive, it was fine. The majority of the people here were under the drinking age.

"Lizzie!" I say excitedly as I wrap my arms around her. We would've tumbled over if she hadn't braced herself on the nearest table.

"Hey, are you okay?" Lizzie asked worriedly.

I wave my hand in dismissal. "I'm great. I just wanted to have fun and forget tonight."

"So, you texted me?" Lizzie asked confusedly.

"Yes! Who else would I have texted?" I slurr.

"Ellie?" Lizzie suggested.

"She's with the boys," I shrug.

"The boys?" She asks.

"Too bossy. And they keep too many secrets," I whine.

"Asher?" She questions.

"Has practice tomorrow," I state casually.

"Xavier?" She continues.

"He lied," I deadpan.

"Oh," Lizzie says shocked. "About what?"

"It doesn't even matter. I wouldn't be able to have fun with an overbearing brother watching me," I say taking another shot.

"Joesph?" She asked pointedly. I could see on her face that she knew he liked me.

"You knew?!" I exclaim louder than I intended.

She chuckles, "Yeah. I'm not blind. It was obvious. But as long as he wasn't admitting it to himself, there was nothing I could do."

"It was obvious?!" I exclaim in disbelief. "I didn't know."

"You knew. You just ignored it," Lizzie says.

I groan, "No. No more talking about the boys."

"We should dance!" I say pulling her onto the dance floor with no time to protest. It wasn't the slutty dancing me and Ellie did. This was more playful and jumpy. Some people watched us in amusement, but there were some who looked at us with lust in their eyes.

Eventually, Lizzie started to drink too. She was nowhere near as drunk as me, but she was drunk enough to stop holding back and have fun. We stood in the middle of the dance floor dancing and laughing while some curious eyes were on us.

"I should hate you," Lizzie yelled over the music as she continued dancing.

"Why?" I yell back happily.

"My boyfriend was in love with you," Her smile never wavered when she spoke.

She was right. She should hate me, but she didn't. "Why don't you?"

Lizzie grabbed me by shoulders and looked me in the eyes, studying me. "Because I can see why he is."

"Lizzie do you like girls?" I say as I examine the crowd where some of them kept looking at us in curiosity.

"Yes. But I wasn't saying that because I like you. I used to like Ellie, but it kinda just faded over time," Lizzie answered. She thought I was asking because of her statement, but she couldn't be more wrong.

"What? No. That's not why I was asking," I laugh. "Do you see me as a sister?"

Lizzie thought for a moment before answering, "No. I know Xavier does. But I just look at you as a really good friend. Is that bad?"
