Part 9

Warning: Mention/brief description of killing Romulans

"How are we, Scotty," Kirk asked just as you both entered the transporter room followed by Spock and Nyota.

"Unbelievable, sir, the ship is in position," Mr. Scott said as he spun in his seat.

Kirk stood beside Mr. Scott while the rest of you went towards the transporter. You couldn't help but direct your attention to Kirk in order to overhear what he had to say.

"Whatever happens, Mr. Sulu, if you think you have the tactical advantage, you fire on that ship, even if we're still onboard. That's an order," Kirk stated over the comms.

Sulu replied, "yes, sir."

"Otherwise we'll contact the Enterprise when we're ready to be beamed back."

"Good luck."

Kirk made his way to the transporter in front of you and slowly glanced with a look of pure confusion to Spock and Nyota who were occupying each other with their lips. You couldn't help but chuckle at his confusion.

Kirk looked over to you and smirked, "shall we give it a go?"

You laughed, "in your dreams, blondie."

"With you on top? Always," Kirk said, to which you only shoved his shoulder.

"Okie dokie then," Mr. Scott began. "If there's any common sense in the design of the enemy's ship, I should be putting you somewhere in the cargo bay. Shouldn't be a soul in sight."

"Energize," Kirk said.

Once you beamed onto Nero's ship, you looked around and saw that the room was filled by Romulans.   "Shouldn't be a soul in sight, my ass," you scoffed as you pulled out your phaser and started to shoot.

You followed Kirk and Spock through the ship while shooting and avoiding beams. The room became a bit silent so you turned your attention to the two beside you, but notice they were a bit farther down from you. Spock approached the blond who was looking at a stunned Romulan.

"I'll cover you," Kirk said to Spock.

"Are you certain?"

"Yeah, I've gotcha."

You curiously looked at the Vulcan as he made his way towards the Romulan. He placed his hand on the Romulan's face. Kirk asked, "do you know where it is? The black hole device?"

After a moment of silence, Spock looked up, "and Captain Pike."

At the sight of a smaller ship, that you could only assume was the ship with the black hole device, you all came to a stop. Before they all started to run towards it you hesitantly grabbed Kirk's hand, "can you both handle this while I go find my dad?"

"Yeah, yeah. Of course," Kirk said while giving you a soft smile. "Go head, I'll meet up with you in a bit."

"Okay," you reluctantly said started to back up then spun around. You ran in the directed that Spock previously told you where your father should be.

You heard a groan that could only be from Kirk. You've had quite the practice in hearing him getting beat up so you quickly made your way towards the sound. You found an opening and went through it. You looked around and found Nero over Kirk a few floors above you.

"I know your face from Earth's history," Nero said then picked the blond up and threw him. They fought for some time. You pulled out your phaser, but couldn't get a clear shot, not without the possibility of hitting Kirk as well. "James T. Kirk was considered to be a great man. He went on to captain the U.S.S. Enterprise. But that was another life. A life I will deprive you of, and your wife of while I'm at it. Just like I did your father."

You chucked to yourself thinking someone would have to be out of their mind to marry Kirk. A beam went right by your head. You immediately took cover behind a wall and started to shoot back. You notice that more were approaching so you made your way out of the room and straight to a set of stairs.

Meanwhile, after Kirk pulled himself from the ledge, he lay on the floor for a moment to catch his breath.

You ran past an opening of the corridor, but stopped at the sight of Kirk lying on the floor with no one around him. You quickly approached him and asked, "Kirk? James, are you okay?"

"Oh yeah, I'm fine," he waved off.

"Then what are you lying down for? Do you need a nap," you chuckled. Kirk sighed and dropped his head on the ground at your comment.

You both made your way to find your father, but came to a corridor that split into two. Kirk started to go towards the left one, "come on, your dad's this way."

"What? No, he's this way," you motioned to the right one.

"You've never been on this ship," he argued.

"Well, neither have you," you countered then groaned, "just go that way and I'll try this one!"

You both split off into your respected exits, but you found your father first who was strapped to a bed and quickly ran towards him.

"Hey dad," you said as you placed a hand on his cheek.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just following orders," you said with a smile coming onto your face.

Kirk entered the room and made his way to you both. He shot a Romulan who appeared behind Captain Pike then helped you untie your father. Once he was unstrapped, you both carried him away.

"Enterprise now," Kirk yelled.

You all got beamed back to the ship.
