Bentley Reid

"If they're on the run from some group that hunting them, they wouldn't go to a place tied to his history." Spencer starts.

"They'd go to a place tied to hers." I say.

"Garcia, what direction was that train going?" Prentiss asks Garcia who just types.

"Uh, the blue line- south."

"It terminates in Springfield. Look for any connection to her in that area. A second apartment, a family home. If you can't find anything, keep going south."

"Boo-yah. April's Grandfather owns a cabin on Lake Accotink."

"Good place to hide out from whoever's still after them. We can get to them first." Rossi says.

"We can, but we have to keep SWAT outside the door. Theo and April are Paranoid, believing correctly that their being hunted. We have to defuse them." Spencer explains further.

"What do you have in mind?" Prentiss asks.

Spencer broke the door open and walks in slowly.

My heel bounces against the ground from my nerves as I see him disappear behind the door.

"He's gonna be fine. Theo knows he's here anyways." JJ reassures me.

"I know, but- I don't know. I even told him earlier how worried I get about him and he does this kind of stuff? I get it, this is our job, but I just feel like every time that he does this, I won't get my husband back." I sigh.

"That's how I feel when Will leaves for work and that's how he feels when I leave. If you feel like this about him, what does he feel when you do stuff like this?" She questions.

"Well, that's the difference. I don't go and do this. I only do it when I try to save someone's life. He just walked in there to meet with a murderer and his girlfriend." I say.

"But, what if he thinks that this is how he saves lives? I mean think about it, Theo killed two people in the subway, who's to say that he wouldn't kill more if he hadn't showed up?" She asks, making me feel guilty.

"Oh my gosh. I never thought about it that way." I groan. "Now I feel like shit."

"Don't. You were worrying about your husband. That  makes you forget all common sense you've ever had." She smiles.

"The Believers were a small group obsessed with the end times, similar to Heaven's Gate." Tara says.

"Violent?" Rossi asks.

"Just the opposite. They prepared themselves by fasting, meditation, giving away their earthly possessions." She informs us.

"That doesn't make sense. The Holstons joining a group that are basically a bunch of Pacifists." Luke says.

"Maybe they stopped being pacifists after their prediction about the end of the world didn't come true. I mean that when a cult would tend to destabilize, and it's easier for a violent or charismatic personality to take over." I explain.

"The Messiah needs to be our focus. What do we know about him?"

+

"May I have everyone's attention? Metro P.D. And the Bureau have been made aware of the believers and possible activity following their leader's arrest, but taking Theo at his word-" Prentiss says but gets cut off by Matt.

"Well, we arrested 3. There's probably more out there, but if they follow cult dynamics, they'll break down without the Messiah."

"Typical Cult. You think it's a cast of thousands, when really it's just 4 wackos sitting in the dark." Tara says.
