The next day, Jack and Juri didn't leave their rooms. All afternoon, North begged her to come out to bake more cookies and Tooth begged Jack to come out too, 'to see his sparkling teeth'. But both Jack and Juri felt horrible. She felt accused and he felt even worse. Jack still was left hanging if she was in a relationship with Cupid. He stood from his bed and walked out the door. Tooth squealed and pryed open his mouth and examined his teeth.
Jack pulled away and went into the main room, North noticed him him and followed.
"Jack, what is wrong with Juri?" Jack didn't answer, he only grabbed an orb from a drawer.
"Did you do something?"
Jack thought of Cupid and the image of his palace appeared. He crushed it and entered the portal, ignoring everyones protests. The wind blew across the sky and he spotted the ivory palace. He entered inside and found Cupid examining a writhering rusty arrow. Cupid turned and hid the arrow.
"Jack what are you doing here?"
"Are you and Juri together?"
"What are talking about?"
"What I mean is, are you both in a relationship?"
Cupid stared oddly at him, "What made you think this?"
"Because yesterday, Juri was acting weird. Telling me to leave her alone and stuff. I figured since you both are close, and how your many attempts in sweeping her off her feet, that you were both dating. And that since you left, I thought she came across something that made her think of you. So knowing how you are, I got worried and mad, then she got mad."
"So that would explain this..." Cupid inaudibly muttered, and glanced at the arrow in his hand.
"Jack you are an idiot."
"And you take advantage of women!"
"True. But I wouldnt to Juri. She is my friend."
Jack went wide eyed, "So you're not-"
"We aren't dating you idiot. Do you not remember what my mother said?"
"And you believed her?"
"Not at first, but soon, I came to learn that she was right."
Jack felt slapped in the face by truth. He had jumped to conclusions and upset Juri. Jack had said he would only want to make her happy. In all honesty, why he blew up on his assumsion, was because he didn't want to lose Juri. Or find her in an emotional wreck. But there was another reason he blew up, but Jack was too naive to think of it.
"Aww man. I messed up."
"Badly." Cupid added, "Go apologize."
"Will she forgive me?"
Cupid gave him a 'seriously?' face, "Do you not know Juri at all?"
Jack then remembered that Juri is very forgiving, which is why she hadn't blown up on Cupid's flirtaous manner and North not helping her from her fall.
"Go fix it. Now." says Cupid. Jack nodded and left his land, when he returned to North's land, he planned out what he was going to say. And had to be good.

Another rainy day, and it didn't help Juri's mood at all. She felt terrible, all the things Jack thought. He actually believed she was gullable enough to give herself to Cupid, thinking that he would take advantage of her. Cupid wouldnt do that to her, and she knew it. And they weren't dating, that's for sure.
She was quite angry with Jack. And that was rare. She heard Jack had left, so a while later, she stepped out her door and down to the main room. Juri sat on bench of the piano, and her emotions got control over her actions, so she began to play a sad melody over and over again.
