C H A P T E R 3

I woke up at 7 in the morning due to some yelling downstairs which was probably my dad giving orders to his men. I quickly got up and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine and looked in the mirror to see that my face was a mess. I immediately jumped into the shower moisturized, shaved, bathed and did my business and now I looked better. 

I went into my closet to chose an outfit for the day, after searching for 5 mins I chose a short black summer dress with a V-neck and black wedges to go along with it. I even did my hair.

I finished dressing up and gave myself one final look in the mirror and headed down to have my breakfast. When I reached the dining area, I saw my dad and brother along with James siting around the table. "Good Morning Dad" I said going up to him and giving him a hug. "Good morning Princess. How did you sleep?" he asked. "Like a baby" I said smiling. 

"Good morning Eli" I said to my brother.  "Morning Ana" he said. Breakfast was soon served which included fried bacon, buttered toast and some sausages. Now that's what I call a perfect English Breakfast. Breakfast soon passed by all of us chatting about my studies and Elijah enquiring me if I had a boyfriend and of course I didn't!

After finishing breakfast, I headed to my room to get my phone and call my long time bestfriend Ashley who was  my friend during high school but I had to leave her behind as I went to Italy for attending university. I texted her saying that I wanted to meet to which she replied that she was on her way to my house.

I went to the living area and plopped myself down the couch waiting for her to arrive and I didn't have company as Dad was busy and Elijah went to meet his friends, I was actually angry at them but they promised to have Dinner together. Anyway I had a month to spend with them. Soon the doorbell went off and I rushed to open it, I opened the door to find my friend Ashley and I literally engulfed her in a hug immediately.

"Bitch, I missed you soo much!" I said. "Well, the feelings are mutual." she replied and together we went inside and I led her to my room and we immediately sat on my bed catching up on things.

"So.. How is Italy??" she asked. "It is awesome really pretty too." I said smiling at her. "Ooh! I have always wanted to visit, heard that Italian guys are really hot!" she said.

 "By the way, speaking of guys.. Have you got yourself one?" she asked. "No, Ash I really have to focus on studies and nobody has caught my eyes anyway." I said avoiding the topic.

"You really have to get laid bitch." she said causing me to roll my eyes at her and sigh. This went on for hours her talking about the things I missed here and me telling about Italy. After some Ashley had to leave as she had a date, lucky bitch! So I decided to check whether Elijah is back as I wanted to spend some time with him, and went to search for him as he would have returned by now. 

When I entered the living area, the maids are servants were busy and guards were lining up inside the house, I saw my dad seated on the couch scrolling through his phone and I went up to him and asked "Dad, are we expecting someone?"

"Yes Princess, The Italian Mafia Don is coming to meet me." he said. I responded back with a small okay and decided to go to the small Terrace garden across the living area which was separated by a glass door, this garden was my mother's favorite place she would always come here to find peace, and now that has now been me. It really brought back memories, good ones. 

As I was observing the garden my phone started to ring and I noticed that it was Richard, from Italy.. we both go to the same university and we are best friends and immediately picked up the call. 

"Hey Richie." I said smiling. "Ana, please don't call me that." he said whining. I knew how he hated that name and I really wanted to tease him. "Oh my god! I am so sorry Richie.. I won't do it again" I said faking sadness. "Ana.." 

"Fine, Fine I am just teasing you chill."  I said making him chuckle. "How is New York?" he asked. "Yea, Everything is fine here.. Just landed yesterday." I said. "Oh, Have you thought about what you are going to do for the assignment?" he said. Fuck! It was a holiday for fuck's sake. "Honestly, I have no idea, will have to think about it" I replied shrugging of the topic. We continued discussing about the assignment. 

Soon ended the call and opened the glass door and stepped inside only to be met up with the most beautiful pair of brown orbs, he was the most handsome man I had ever seen and he was siting on the couch with his legs crossed one over the other. He literally screamed danger and power. My dad nor Elijah no one was in sight except for him and a man standing next to him. We both made eye contact for a few mins after which I broke it and rushed to my room without uttering a single word. 

'What the hell was that?'  I asked myself once I reached my room.
