Okay ladies & gents along with my nonbinary pals, lesbian sisters, gay brothers and everyone else! This was requested by ALLY-2005 and since I haven't been very active or written a chapter in a while I decided to start with this because life has been stressful lately. So without further introduction I give you all another chapter for this set of stories. Please enjoy. This will also be fluff because we could all use something cute right now.

NO-ONES POV:

It has been quite a while since (Y/N) has slowly stopped being nearly as cheerful and as bubbly as they used to be. Though they have hidden it fairly well from everyone, or at least that is what they believed. They would still hang with friends or explore, but they always put a mask on. And not a typical mask a doctor would use or one that would be seen on Halloween, but one where they put on a smile and pretended as if everything was alright though that was just a lie. They thought they were hiding it well from everyone, but they didn't know that one person has been keeping a really close eye on them for quite a while now.

YOUR POV:

I let out a quiet sigh as I sit on my bed. I have been staying with the Underswap brothers for a while now, but they haven't seemed to notice that I have been depressed. And that's a good thing I suppose. I don't really want them worrying about me any. I haven't really told anyone about me being depressed at all and it's probably for the best.

I look towards the small bed side table and I reach over, opening the small drawer with care as I peer inside. I see the old charm necklace my mother had given me before I had fallen into the underground along with a couple small books and my scissors that I use on projects. I grab the scissors and close the drawer. I examine the scissors with care before opening them as wide as they can go. I run my finger carefully across the sharp edge of the scissors but before I could do any actual damage, or anything of the sorts, I hear a knock at the door.

I hurriedly open my draw and carelessly toss my scissors in the drawer before closing it again. I fix myself up a bit and walk over to the door but I don't open it. I then hear a familiar yet comforting voice through the thick wood of my door. At that instant I knew it was just Papyrus. He always had a voice of honey.

I open the door for him and I peer up at him. In my most casual and chill tone I could muster I spoke.

"Hey. What's up, Papyrus?"

I could tell there was something he was wanting to talk to me about without him having to say anything but I am not sure what it is yet. He looks as if he is trying think of what say to me at the moment. I watch his facial expression as I wait for his response.

PAPYRUS' POV:

Shortly after knocking on the door in front of me I hear a couple of sudden thuds before I say (Y/N)'s name out loud. Only a few short moments later the door opens and I see their small body standing in front of me. I look down at them slightly as they look up at me. After a few short seconds I hear them say something to me.

"Hey. What's up, Papyrus?"

I nearly forgot what I was going to talk to them about as I noticed them waiting for my response.

I finally decided to respond with something casual.

"Not much. I just wanted to check up on you."

I seen them flench ever so slightly as their eyes seemed to stop looking at me. That's when I got the answer to my question. I had a feeling something wasn't right I just need the confirmation and now I have it.

I walked into their room and closed the door behind me. They seemed startled by this but even more startled when I sat down on their bed and pulled them into my lap with ease. They stayed quite for a while but eventually gave in and hid their fragile little face into my chest. We stayed silent for a few moments before I brushed my hand over the back of their head. That's when they looked up at me with their beautiful set of eyes.

Without hesitation I decided to ask them the question that had been on my mind. I took a second before asking the question.

"(Y/N)... What has been going on? Something has been seeming to trouble you quite a bit lately. It has been worrying me."

I then noticed that their eyes seemed to change as they shifted their gaze away from me.

(Y/N)'S POV:

My heart dropped the second he asked his question. I shifted my eyes away from his view but I could tell he already seen how my eyes changed because I felt his gaze become more worrisome. I hesitated for a moment before looking at him again. I thought of my answer for a moment before deciding to speak. I knew I had to be careful with my words though.

"Oh nothing much. I've just been busy lately and a lot more.. Exhausted I guess."

I knew then by the look on his face that he knew exactly what I meant without even having to tell him. He then pulled me into an even tighter hug as he laid his skull on my head. Then out of nowhere he mumbled to me. He mumbled words to me that brought me to tears as I clung to him even more as if my life depended on it.

"It's alright (Y/N). I promise everything will be alright. I'll always be here for you. Even when the world tries to bring you down. You deserve to be happy and I'll make sure you get to feeling that happiness that I love so much again."

(Word Count: 1072 words for this entire chapter. Hope you all enjoy it. I worked really hard on it even if I didn't have a lot of motivation for it.)
