Y/n's P.o.V
"She should be back soon," I say to the people.
"Excuse me," I turn my head to face the voice. "If you don't mind me asking, why did that fox have so many scars and bruising, especially around its face and neck." The siren asked curiously.
"oh... that is a story for another time," I replied simply.
"So, Y/n... did you know those hunters?"
"Yes, I did. Jack and his mates were tasked to protect the village and its people from myths, like you if they decide to attack. More recently he and his friends have become more violent and purposely hunting myths using the council's name to justify the kills... It was only a matter of time before they went after me, is what I am and all." I responded, my gaze dropping to the still glowing ground.
"How did you find me?" he continued, "And what are you exactly?"
"Well, I'm a witch," I replied, "A good, nice, friendly witch," I added on quickly. I know how those few bad witches and warlocks made us look, horrible, mean... merciless killers. I want them to know I am not them. "And for the first question, I was hoping you would know." I continued.
"A witch you say?" The blonde man spoke.
"Yes," I reply.
"Many rumours have been circling here, in the human world, about witches, warlocks and mages crossing into this world. Do you know if this is true?" he asked.
"If I tell, will you hunt them down, kill them out of pure fear?" I say with a smidge of venom in my voice. He looked taken with my tone, I look up at him and continue. "Will the humans here do the same thing that humans there have been doing since the witch trials? Will you hang us? Will you burn us at the stake? Will you murder us in cold blood, for no other reason then, 'if one of them is bad, they all are'?" He and the other males there stand in shock at my words.
Aizawa's P.o.V
Wow... this is obviously a sensitive topic for her but... wow. Everyone stays silent. Eri shuffles towards the annoyed or angry or any negative emotion right now witch... and hugs her. She seemed shocked at this action, snapped out of her negative emotion faze and looked down at Eri. "I don't know much about witches but if most of them are like you, I would hurt them." She said beginning to tear up.
"That's sweet but..." she said with a slight smile, "Humans hated us because we where different, able to do things the couldn't... then a few witches and warlocks decided to do some very bad things, and now almost every human hates us..." she finished with sadness creeping into her voice.
"But your nice," Eri responded looking up at the witch "And that's what matters!" the witch looks both sad and happy simultaneously. She looked up and into the distance. She begins to smile. All is peaceful. She looks to the right of her quickly. We all follow her gaze and watch the fox from before appearing but appear alone. The fox walks quickly up to her and locks eyes with her. The witch expression drops completely. She gently pries Eri off of her and stands up and nods at the fox. The fox turns around, jumps and seemly rips open a portal from the fabric of space. The witch turns to us.
"I will return soon." She speaks masking whatever feeling or feelings she is experiencing. She then turns and runs through the portal before anyone can protest. The animals around including my beloved cat run after her. We all just stood there, confused beyond possible explanation.
