I got up quickly excited to see Shadow today. I left my mom a note again and went to the library. I had gained Dr. Dokery's trust. I was trusted by the staff and was asked to be a tutor but I denied.

A couple of minutes later other students had walked in, tutors included. My door opened and Shadow walked by with a smile.

"Morning." I told Shadow. He greeted me with a hug.

"Morning. I sure enjoyed the dinner last night." He said blushing a bit, rubbing the back of his neck blushing and looking off the side; probably thinking about that kiss.

"My favorite part was when we were outside. Maybe black cats aren't bad luck after all." I told him touching his hand.

"Yeah, maybe..." He looked into my eyes. Those beautiful ruby eyes were like well, rubies. We couldn't break eye contact. Then, the door opened.

"And you should be able to understand why this works like that." Shadow pretended to know what he was talking about.

"Oh, sorry. I just wanted know how you guys were doing." Dr. Dokery said. "This looks good. I'll leave you and you're studies." She closed the door and left.

"That was close..." Shadow said.

"Yeah..." The bell rang. "I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked him.

"As always..." He told me and gave me a kiss. I walked out waving bye at him, he waved back.

Shadow's POV

I was happy to be in that relationship, but I had to tell Scourge that I need to let him go. I was scared to tell him. I making up my mind, but he walked in my door.

"Hey, babe." I said in a cheery voice, but he didn't look too happy with me. "Are you okay?" I asked him.

He pinned me against the bookshelf. "Did you think you were going to get away with this?"

"W-with what?" I couldn't breathe with his hands around my neck.

"Don't lie to me you clearly know what I'm talking about. You're going out with stupid student of yours." He said angrily.

"He's not stupid! You're the one who's stupid. This is the reason I don't want to be with you anymore!" I screamed at him. I was scared once I realized what I said. There was anger in Scourge's face. My ears jetted back.

"You, me tonight at my house." Was all he said and left. I couldn't disobey him. I knew things were going to get ugly. I was frightened and I shook a bit.

The day went on till it was time to go home. I didn't want to go to Scourge's house. It's always dark, still and quiet.

I walked that way. I was scared. I knocked on the door but the door opened by its self. I jetted my ears back.

"Hello?" I asked and the door shut. Scourge stood there. I was frightened.

"Well, if it isn't that little cheater..." I heard him say as he got closer. "You know, I have big plans for you tonight, no one will be able to hear your screams."

"Scourge, I swear I didn't mean to. I was just ma-" but he hit me with his belt across my body. "Ahh! Scourge please, it doesn't have to be this way." I begged.

"Oh, but it has to be." He said as he tied my hands and pulled my arms up to the wall. "Now, say my name..." Was all he said before everything went black.

Silver's POV

I returned to school and was waiting quietly in the library. I heard the doors bust and a loud voice echoed. He threw something on the ground.
