There was an odd silence between the three. But it was broken by a security guard flying around the corner.
"There he is!" he shouted to other security guards down the hall. There were two other guards that appeared, then, they all started charging towards Jonas.
"Stop!" Miranda screeched. All of the guards halted to a stop. "What is this all about? Why are you three all after Jonas?"
There was confusion on Miranda's face, guilt on Sam's, and fury on Jonas's.
"I'll tell you why!" Jonas belted out. "I spoke my mind on how I thought about you guys abandoning everyone who wants to be free, and your daughter freaks out, and so she tells a lady to 'keep me away from her' and that 'she needs to speak with her mother'. I-"
"He's right mom. We can't just abandon this place. So many people depend on us to be here and guide them to freedom. What would Papa think if we just left, only thinking about ourselves?" Sam motioned for the guards to go, and they did.
"I agree as well, but the plan is risky."
Jonas spoke up. "What do we have to loose?"
"Great," Sam said with a smile on her face, "I will get to the Data Center and put all the important data on a hard drive, then alert everyone of the plan."
"That's my girl," Miranda spoke with pride.
It seemed like they were planning for hours.
"What time is it?" Sam spoke slowly. "I need to go to bed."
"Yeah, that's a good idea, lets just sleep until the government gets here!" Jonas gave Sam a 'I'm not playing around look'.
"I don't appreciate the sarcasm," she said, then stuck her tongue out at Jonas, "plus, they won't be here till Thursday. And today is Saturday."
"How are you so sure?" Jonas thought the answer was a little to specific. How were they to know they wouldn't be here in an hour? Or even at the door?
"Cameras."
Oh right, they have like 100 spy cameras in each community, and in the government.
Suddenly Brady burst through the door and said, "Guys, there is a man out there asking for Jonas, and he was saying something about memories, and that bad things were soon to come."
