Just a Dare

As I drove home I was thinking. It makes no sense. Jc had his arm around Ashley. Was he just saving himself? Why would he do that? I don't understand him.

I got to my dorm and Andrea was still sleeping as if she was dead. I plopped on my bed and looked at my phone. I look through Jc's Instagram.

I see a picture of Ashley and Jc. Uhh why is he with her she's such a whore! As soon as I heard myself say that it felt good. But I felt bad at the same time I don't even know her. I felt a jealousy cloud over my head.

I don't understand! You can just tell. Too much makeup, short shorts, crop top, high heels. Maybe I'm just not pretty enough. I'm short,a nerd the opposite of his interests obliviously.

I needed to get my mind off of Jc so I went to Starbucks. As I walked in I felt great the smell of coffee was amazing.

"Hi I'll have a vanilla bean frap with 2 pumps of peppermint please" I said

"Coming right up" the boy at the counter said
I sat down and waited for my frap.

"UMM ALLIE?!" My order was ready

"That's me. Thanks" I said

"No problem" he winked at me
I looked at my cup it said something "Connor-text me you look sad 356-487-2041"

I smiled at the little message. It made my day a little brighter to be honest.

As I added his number into my contacts. A girl with brown hair came in and ordered.

"Hey. Can I sit here?" She came up to me

"Umm. Sure"I responded back to her

"What's your name?" She asked

"Allie....Allie Lowsey" I said

"Oh hi Allie, I'm Bethany....Bethany Mota" she smiled

"BETHANY?!"

"That's my order hold on for a second" she said
Why was this girl so nice. No one is that nice to me. She came back.

"So. You look a bit sad..what's wrong?" She asked

"Umm just a little upset about something" I said in sadness

"Is it a boy?" She asked
I nodded

" Hey. Don't worry sometimes these things happen for a reason and if you guys are meant for each other then there's someone else that's waiting for you" she explained to me

"Thank you so much" I said

"No problem girl hey this was fun! Here's my number if you ever want to hang out or need a talk call me" she smiled

" I will. Bye" I waved to her
