Heath POV
It’s been two days since Heath has rejected Alessandra. He is still mad at the fact that she came back into the school acting like being rejected didn’t hurt. He didn’t like the fact that she was able to get over him so quickly when all the other girls would do anything just to get a piece of him. He had watched her all day and she didn’t seemed fazed by all the whispering and talking about her being rejected. Heath hadn’t been ready to settle down and he hadn’t been wanting to be tied down. He just wasn’t ready.
Heath heard the front door open and then shut. Jason had left a while ago so he figured it was him. Heath got up from his bed and headed down the stairs. As Heath got down to the final step he took a sharp intake of breath. Alessandra’s scent was faintly through the house he followed to where the scent led. When he got to where the scent was the strongest it was like he just got slapped in the face. Jason was in the kitchen and he had Alessandra’s scent all over him. Heath became enraged and stomped over to where Jason was and grabbed him by the neck and put him up against the wall. Heaths wolf had taken over. “Why is her scent all over you” Heath said. “Why do you care you rejected her just to be an ass” said Jason. Heath became even more enraged and slammed him harder on the wall and yelled “Answer my question”! “We hung out, besides it’s none of your business because you lost that privilege when you rejected her “Jason yelled back. Heath was angry that Jason was not being respectful to him he was his alpha and he needed to be put in his place. Heath let him go and punched him hard in the jaw. Jason looked at Heath in anger but refused to hit Heath. Jason pushed his way past Heath holding his jaw and went outside to run off his anger.
Heath stood there for a good five minutes and then guilt hit Heath full force. He had never hit Jason, he and Jason had always been good friends. Heath didn’t understand why he was so mad that Jason, for seeing Alessandra. Jason was right he rejected Alessandra. So then why did he care?
