Alessandra runs down the stairs where she happily greets her family. Alessandra's mom whose name is Kerry, has made her favorite breakfast chocolate chip pancakes with bacon. "Happy birthday my beautiful princess" says her father Justin. Kerry sets the pancakes in front of her daughter and gives her a hug and says "Happy birthday sweet heart". Alessandra smiles at her parents "Thanks mom and dad" she says. She quickly finishes eating, seeing that she has twenty minutes to get to school. She finishes quickly and throws her dish in the sink and runs upstairs to brush her teeth. "Al, we have to go" her father says. She runs back downstairs and tells her mom bye. "I hope you find your mate sweet heart, Have a great day at school". Alessandra and her dad go out to the car to head to school.
"Bye dad". "Bye, have a great day" says her dad. Alessandra walks in to the school to her locker. She grabs her books and all the assignments she will need for class. She shuts her locker and starts heading to class. Alessandra is half way to class when she smells a wonderful smell. When she finds the source of the smell she about cries out. There her mate is sucking face with another girl. Her heart clenches at the sight of him groping another girl. As if smelling her scent he storms over with rage in his eyes. She doesn't even get a chance to say a word before he says the words she never wants to hear. "I Heath Rogers, reject you as my mate and Luna of this pack." Alessandra chokes back a sob "I Alessandra May except your rejection." She then turns around and runs.
Alessandra doesn't even pay attention to where she is running she just runs as fast her legs will take her. She finally stops, and finds herself in the forest beside the school. She sits on a tree stump and cries her heart out. She doesn't understand why she was rejected. She thinks to herself that she must have done something wrong to deserve this. She cries for a little bit longer until she realizes that she didn't do anything wrong it was just that her "so called mate Heath is a jerk" and that she deserves and can do way better than him. Alessandra pulls herself together and walks back to the school with her head held high.

Hey everyone I hope everyone had a great break. So, this is my second book and I think I am liking this one way better. I try to upload a chapter whenever I can which is usually every day. It's easier that I'm graduated, but I still have things to do but I will hopefully write a chapter every day:) This one is short because I have to get the book started.
