Kara slipped back between the sheets just before dawn. Her night was restless, but only with excitement and disbelief. Draping her arm around Lena's waist, her cool skin reacting even as she slept, pressing lips to breasts, burying her face in her neck, dancing her fingertips over her soft flesh, savoring each tingle, watching the rise and fall of her breath-this was her new meditation-this was her new home.

"Are you watching me sleep, Dr. Danvers?"

Lena's eyes remained closed, but she ran a gentle hand over Kara's head, down her neck, along her back, and over the cool skin of her round bottom.

"I might have taken a peek or two."

Kara crawled on top of Lena and rested her chin on her chest.

Lena opened her eyes, wrapped her arms around Kara's waist, and glided her lips over Kara's delicately.

"You are so adorable it hurts, Kara Danvers."

"Would you think I was a big dork if I told you I've been awake all night holding onto you like a giddy schoolgirl?"

"Nope. I already thought you were a big dork."

"Hey! Is that any way to speak to your dentist?"

Lena smiled and rubbed her cheek against Kara's.

"I adore you, beautiful. Making love to you all night and waking up next to you is the greatest feeling in the world."

"Doing terrible things to you in my dental chair was the greatest feeling in the world for me."

Lena kissed Kara's cheeks, her neck, and her ears lightly. She laid her head down on Kara's shoulder and pressed her weight into her deliciously. She moved a hand up to Kara's cheek and caressed it softly.

"What we did last night in your office was by far the sexiest thing I have ever taken part in. It was so hot. You were so hot with your little black panties and bra. My heart could barely take it."

"You were the hot one, Ms. Luthor."

"Do we have to go to work? How about we call in sick and I take you to Greece? I want to kiss every part of you on every grain of pure white sand. Come on. Let's go," Lena said playfully, trying to pull Kara from the bed.

Kara beamed and held on to Lena tighter. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get close enough.

"Everything you say makes me want to tear your clothes off and propose marriage."

Kara blushed hard, immediately regretting her candor.

Lena just laughed and kissed Kara feverishly. She pulled back and panted.

"Let's learn each other's favorite color and then maybe I'll let you propose to me."

Lena caressed Kara's nose softly with her fingertip.

Kara chuckled, but her face dropped into a more thoughtful look of love.

"How are you so perfect? How do you always say the right thing?"

"Oh, trust me, I will definitely say the wrong thing from time to time, but you'll forgive me because you think I'm cute. Right, Dr. Danvers?"

"True. I think you're adorable, but why should I forgive you for everything you say?" Kara asked playfully.

"Because I will pay you in kisses until you forgive me and I will always stoke your excitement, or at least that what's you said last night. I've heard my kisses can knock a dentist right off her feet."
