In the older days, nightmares rained havoc on all the people of the Earth with no mercy. You would have the most horrible, terrible mares, filled with death and destruction and phobias, many who couldn't it killed themselves to free themselves from the curse.
Mother Nature, the goddess of life on Earth noticed the suffering going on with humans and gave a selected few a gift, a gift that would allow them to kill these night terrors. She gave them weapons that never broke and magic so they would survive against the nightmares. And every child born from the mother who had this gift, was also blessed with it, so the population could grow and the world could control the nightmares.
And that's where we are today, the gifted were sworn to never tell the ungifted for the sake of their sanity and life continued on. So these amazing warriors live among us all, living a seemingly everyday life, some went to jobs for show but most lived off the tremendous money they got for defeating the nightmares.
But other than that, they were normal, they could start families ,it was encouraged to only have children with other gifted as if you had them with ungifted, there was a chance they wouldn't be gifted either, and the ungifted was sworn to secrecy as well. They could go to school and college (though many decided again it, juggling school life and risking your life every night wasn't ideal) and live in general a normal life.
But enough with that, this story is about 3 gifted warriors, who came together( though it was rather unwilling) to defeat the worst nightmares the world had ever seen.
This is a story about Jordan, Leah and Emily.
