"Oh," he murmured, his chest tightening.

"Oi, you say that as if what i said is unbelievable." She exclaimed crossing her arms against her chest. He chuckled and shook his head.

"T-thats not it!"
Its not that he does not believe it, he just.. Doesnt want to.
He felt the weight of a metal blanket over him, making him feel crushed.

Chiharu laughed, "I'm just pulling your leg, anyway.. You better change before you catch a cold."
Then she left the room closing the door behind her, leaving Kou feeling shattered. He felt as if a part of him died, maybe it did. Kou laughed at how pathetic he is, he was gone for years of course chiharu would move on. But he cant stop the thoughts of someone else making her laugh, someone else and not him. That someone else is the reason behind her smile, that someone else sees the way her eyes sparkle and her smile always reaches her eyes when she talks about something she loves. He was the first one to see it all, he was the first one to love it all.

He was also the first one to leave.

He sighed slipping on the t-shirt and he went off to throw his plain white button-up shirt at the dryer, putting it on for twenty-minutes.

"Kou-kun?" Chiharu called out, her soft voice travelling through the hallways.

"I'm here!" Kou replied, she went over to the laundry room.

"I made tea, so come downstairs okay?" He nodded, then she took off to go downstairs.

'Baka, im so stupid, as long as shes happy. I should be happy right?' He ran his fingers through his dark brown locks frustratedly. He shook his head and tried to ignore the feeling of being stabbed in his heart that keeps hurting. He went downstairs and he saw chiharu, and another man. He has messy blonde hair, a pair of red eyes. He was rather tall. He waved at him with a genuine smile on his face that would make any girl squeal.

"Oh, Kou-kun just in time, this is Tachibana Yuki. My boyfriend."
There's that suffocating pain again.

He smiled and offered his hand to shake

Kou nodded, "Machida Kou,"

"Ah, the famous kou. Chi-chan told me a lot about you."

"Oh?" Was all he said, not knowing what else to say.

"You studied in america right? Thats impressive," Yuki chimed with a warm smile. Kou rubbed the back of his neck chuckling nervously.

"Hehe, not really. But thanks,"

Yuki turned to chiharu, "i just stopped by to make sure you got home safe, anyway. See you tomorrow." Chiharu walked him to the front door, she wrapped her arms around his waist and in her tippy-toes she placed a sweet kiss on his cheek, "you missed," Yuki teased pointing to his lips. Chiharu giggles punching him lightly on the shoulder.

"Stupid,"

He laughed and leaned down and gave her a quick peck on the lips, then he waved at kou.
"See you tomorrow Kou! Take care of Chi-chan for me."

Then it was just them, something made kou feel sick maybe it was something he ate.
Or it was watching another man so close to his chi-chu.

He'll try to tell himself its just something he ate but obviously it was the latter.

A deep exhale came out of chiharu, "im glad your back."

Kou nodded, he's not so sure if he is though. "I'm happy to be back."
