Chapter 5 ❤️

With no motivation at all, kou lay on his unkept bed. Staring at the ceiling, his chest ached in an unbearable pain.

"Why her?" He thought. He sighed, sitting up and running his hand through his hair.

She's been in his dreams more than she isn't.

"Kou-kun?" Chiharu tilted her head to the side, a look of worry on her features.

"Gomen, hehe don't worry about me its just lack of sleep," kou chuckled scratching the back of his head sheepishly. It wasn't entirely a lie, he's been losing sleep recently. Maybe it's the sudden change of time or maybe because every time he falls asleep his dreams shows him everything he wants and once he wakes up he's reminded that it's all a dream.

Maybe it's better to not dream at all.

beside chiharu is her friend seiko the blonde-haired blue eyed girl,she eyed kou. She caught onto what might have been bugging the brunette. When chiharu left to go see Yuki at his practice, she approached Kou.

"You're in love aren't you." She stated more than asked, leaning against the shoe lockers with her arms crossed and eyes shut.

"Eh? Why would you say that?" Kou testily said, she is right though.

Seiko turned her gaze at kou, staring at his face carefully, as if assessing him.
"Lack of sleep, cant concentrated, cant give eye-contact to chi-chan. You like her dont you? And the fact that she's taken is hurting you to no end."

Kou swallowed, making seiko smirk in triumph.

'Bingo, ' she thought.

"The only thing i can tell you is that, dont feel discouraged. Relationships like that don't last."

"What do you mean?"

Seiko sighed and got off the shoe locker and faced him with a straight face.

"I mean, it's too perfect. Chiharu isn't exactly experienced in relationships and she's blinded. Yuki isn't exactly the kind of guy to stick to one girl. Unrequited love can survive in a way once-requited love cannot." Suddenly finding the ground interesting she clenches her fist and whispered, softly.

"I would know."
