~Niall's POV~

As I walked towards the café, my heart was racing as I walked towards my first "date" with Scarlett. It made absolutely no sense because our management teams had planned this out to a T. We were to meet at this café by "accident" and then I was to take her to the beach, making sure to pass by paparazzi of course. Before I left from the meeting, they had made sure to remind me that there was to be no funny business.

The stately trees around the sidewalk provided shade as I trudged forward. Off to the side of a hidden street, a wooden door stood, slightly ajar. A few bored paparazzi members sat sullenly by the entrance of the door, rapidly taking a few shots of me conversing with the hulking bouncer and him lifting up the red rope to let me in.

I walked up to counter and ordered a latte, basking in the sunlight streaming in from the windows. The cafe was sunny and airy, only a few celebrities lounging upon the comfortable couches. I took a sip of the steaming drink, immediately wishing I had ordered tea. Sauntering casually around the room, I looked for Scarlett. In the corner of the room, I saw her, wearing a pair of battered blue converse and reading something on her phone. As I made my way over to her, I threw my latte in the trashcan.

"Hey, what are you looking at?" I asked.

"Fanfics. By the way, does Louis really act like a 5 year old kid with ADHD?"

I chuckled, I had read a couple of these Fanfics myself and I was constantly amused by how they portrayed Louis.

"No, he just likes joking around."

I sat down next to her and slung my arm casually around her, asking: "Do you want to go to our pre-planned beach date now?

She lifted her head off, throwing me a sly smile.

*** 10 minutes later ***

As we run down the street, a screaming group of girls follow us, most clutching phones in their hands, no doubt snapping pictures. Scarlett grabs my hand and we run to a purple car parked on the side of the street.

"I borrowed Justin's car." she winked at me, quickly pressing the unlock button.

"Any regrets about parking so far from the cafe?" I replied, quickly hopping in.

As she jumped into the driver's seat she slammed the door shut, gasping from running for so long, "Not at all, that was really fun. Especially that chick almost ripped your shirt off you."

I burst out laughing and she quickly maneuvered onto the road, barely missing a few of the faster runners.

***A cheerful looking building in a gated community***

A few lightbulbs flashed from a small group of paparazzi sitting near the gates of the place before they settle down again, chowing down on what looked like a large myriad of junk food.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"My house."

As we walked into the cheerful building, a small dog ran over to attack my shoes, yapping viciously.

"Where are your parents?" I said as she closed the door to the vacant house.

" Oh, they went to visit this record label in New York, they want to see if they can get and offer from them for me so they can hold it over management."

"So I'm guessing they didn't like how we were forced to date?"

"Not particularly."

She pulled out two controllers and ushers me to the living room, where we sit down, play video games and chat for a few hours. When the room in cloaked in an orange glow from the rapidly setting sun, I pause the game and tell Scarlett: "I think I should go now."

She clambers off of the coach and pulls a coat on, asking me how upset I think management will be. I laugh at the thought, replying: "I bet they are breathing fire right now."

My phone dinged with a text from Zayn, telling me that they were heading out right then. After studying the message a bit, I tell Scarlett, "You don't have to drive me, I can just have the lads pick me up."

She arches an eyebrow, asking: "You sure? Cuz if they don't I don't think I have the willpower to get up again."

I nod and type a quick response to Zayn, asking them to pick me up and give them the address.

While we wait for them to arrive, Scarlett and I sit on the steps, my arms wrapped around her as the cameras flashed from the gates. I did feel a bit bad for management, as I knew they were mainly just trying to help us stay in the spotlight, even though their means of keeping us under that blinding light were kind of twisted. Very soon, a black car screeched through the gates, barely squeezing through them as they opened. Paul climbed out of the drivers seat and opened the passenger door, dragging Harry out of the backseat. Louis, Zayn and Harry were all roaringly drunk.

"Sorry Scarlett," Paul said, "but these boys have to crash here for the night before they cause more trouble."

Harry stumbled over, an empty beer bottle clenched in his hand, slurring: "Aw Paul, why don't you let us have some fun?"

Paul shook his head and said mumbled something about having to cheak their rooms and the backseat for beer before leaving them alone.

"Why did you take them out if they were so drunk?" I asked.

"They were only a bit tipsy when they came out and I thought they were going to sober up during the car ride. Unfortunatly, Zayn managed to sneak in a couple of 6 packs of beer."

Liam pushed his way out of the car, smiled at Scarlett and greeted her before turning to help Paul with Louis, who was singing They Don't Know About Us quite loudly and out of tune. Paul chastised Liam for not stopping the boys while he was driving and then quickly jumped out of the way as staggered towards me, enveloping me in a smothering hug.

When we finally managed to lug them onto the couches and get them to sleep, Scarlett burst out laughing, despite being covered with grass from when she had fallen from dragging Harry in. Liam looked at her curiously as he drank a glass of water, smiling despite his fatigue.

"That was the funniest thing I have ever seen." she chuckled, barely containing herself. I snuck a look at the couches, where Zayn was sprawled across Harry with Louis laid in an armchair, his legs dangling loosly from the side. I began to laugh at the ridiculous image and Scarlett joined me, finally with even Liam and Paul admitting how ridiculous the scene was, stifling amused snorts.

After Paul had left and Liam was asleep in the guest room, Scarlett hugged me, giggling quietly, saying: "Good night!" She skipped up the stairs and I walked into another guest room, climbing into bed and immediatly diving into sleep
