recap of deadroses: upon me, stand a dozen deadroses representing me:
i merely started off as a bud,
being picked on,
to slowly being cut and shown off for a couple of days.
once i'm dying, i dry
but
i'm not dead
for it harnesses love
the day a red dead rose comes to life,
is the day my love for you will stop.

and so for days, i tried to hate you, the leaves on the deadroses came apart. only when i embraced the removal of you did i find my roses were growing.
i no longer am in need of you,
as you are now an old accessory.
and guess what?
they're alive
yes.
the red dead roses have come to life and are filled with butterflies
how funny.
now,
it's— well you, are simply just a book filled with chapters of you.
you are stuck in this book and i,
out writing about it
