We finally get to this little grocery store after about 10 minutes of walking. I grab a mini shopping cart that Charlie insists on pushing so I get him.

"What do you think I should make for dinner? Since I'm cooking for 5 plus people I kinda wanna do something simple." I ask Charlie.

"hmm... I mean you can't go wrong with something easy like pasta?" He says in a questioning tone.

"Oh that's actually a pretty good idea! I could just make a giant thing of Chicken fettuccini alfredo!" I say a little too excitedly.

"I mean I don't know how to make it, but I'll help you if you need the help." Charlie offers.

I can't help but smile at the thought of him helping me in the kitchen. Owen never wants to help me, and I don't really like him "help". His version of helping is just eating thing as we go or being on his phone the whole time while being in the kitchen.

"Okay sounds like a plan! let's get the ingredients." I saw as were walking down the aisles.

After about 30 minutes of walking down each isle. I do a mental checklist of everything we needed then we head to the checkout lane.

"That will be 36.45." The checkout lady said.

I was about to take my wallet out to pay for it when Charlie already handed the lady some money.

"Charlie you didn't have to do that. I do have money ya know." I say insisting that I pay. I hate when people pay for me. I'm an independent woman damnit.

"it's cool Michelle I got it. Why should the person who making the whole meal have to pay for it?" He questioned me. He did make a good point.

"fine. If you must you can pay." He just smirks at me as I put away my wallet.

We get an Uber back to our apartment. There was just no way in hell I was carrying all those groceries all the way home. We get to our apartment door and I get my key, put it in the hole and get the door open.

"OWEN?" I call out to see if he's home yet.

After a minute or two I hear his door open and see him coming our of his room. He only had basketball shorts on and looks like he just got out of the shower.

"It's about time you two came back. I was about to send a search party out for you guys." He says while making himself comfortable on the couch.

"You know Owen you could help put these away." I tell him using my "I'm serious" voice.

"But then that means I have to get back up and I just got comfortable." He says simply turning on the tv and flipping through the channels.

"oh and BY THE WAY you could have texted me and told me that I was making dinner. Charlie isn't your personal messenger boy." I say to him as I'm taking the stuff and placing it on the counter.

"Well he was already on his way over to talk to you so I figured he could just pass the word along that way you'd know where I'm at. Oh and did he tell you that were gonna have the band come over and do some bonding?"

"Yeah he did. Which is why I bought enough food to feed a zoo." I say a little dramatically, but I didn't care.

Once I get all the ingredients out Charlie tells me that he's going to take a quick shower and not to start cooking til he gets back. For some reason I find it so adorable how excited he is about helping me cook. He reminds me of a little kid. Since I had to wait a couple of minutes for Charlie to get out of the shower. I take my phone out and scroll though Instagram for a little bit and checking everything. I see some of the comments my "Seashells" were asking me to do a Instagram live since I haven't done one in a while. I go grab my laptop real quick from my room and decide I'll do an impromptu live. I get my laptop and set it up in the kitchen so it's at a good angle on me and decide to start the live.
