So apparently there are people reading this... Which is weird. I mean, I'm nobody special...
Oh. I see..
You're here for Asa....
Well lucky for you, this blog is devoted to my issues. So you'll be seeing lots of Butters.
Since there are more than two of you, I guess I'll write this more like a story and less like a blog...?
So here goes, I guess...
Even though he denied it being what it looked like, Asa still held me tightly.
"No really." I said. "He was just about to help me to a chair.
Aramis still smirked, "Right."
"Right." chirped Asa, helping me hobble to a nearby seat.
"So why did she have to move?" asked Aramis.
"Because." Asa swung around to face him. "You and me are going to do the stage for her."
"Oh you don't have to do that, really." I insisted. "And it's you and I.
"What?" they said in unison.
"You said 'you and me', but the correct English is 'you and I'..."
....What? I'm a proud member of the IGPD (International Grammar Police Department).
Asa shrugged, "Sorry. Bad English is just another bad habit of mine."
As Aramis was dragged to the stage, he said, "That, and flirting.."
I rolled my eyes.
Just as Aramis and Asa were unfolding the last two chairs, my mom came up behind me.
"Valerie. Carter. Patterson."
Without turning to her, I said, "Yeah?"
"Why are they doing your job? You know that you're not supposed to talk to them."
"He just wanted to help."
"Help what? It's not like you don't have experience."
I turned, sharply saying, "I was under a table... It fell on me."
Mom crossed her arms, "That doesn't change the fact that they're doing your job, missy."
"Nope, we're done." Aramis broke in, starting to walk away.
"Hey, thanks." I smiled.
He just sort of nodded awkwardly, then strutted off.
Asa came towards me, "How is it?"
"How is what?" mom asked.
"I told you." said I. "The table fell on me."
When she looked down to my ankle, mom suddenly turned into an over-protecting nurse.
"Oh god. Valerie, it's so swollen."
"It's just twisted." smiled Asa. "And I was only trying to help..."
"No no no, thank you so much." Mom again turned to me, "Val I came over to let you know we'll be leaving soon. I just have one more thing to talk to the coordinators about."
"Okay.. I can hop to the car, I guess..." I said.
"Or I could come get you when I'm done..."
"I can walk her to the car, if you want." offered Asa.
Mom replied, "No I couldn't ask you to d--"
"I insist." he interrupted. "You're busy enough without this invalid to look after."
Woah woah woah. Asa was teasing me? No. No of course not...
I almost had myself convinced, when he glanced down and winked at me.
He winked at me.
I simply smiled to the floor.
To put a long and awkward five seconds short, mom consented, and left to do her planny thing; which left Asa and I... alone.
I promised to do this less like a blog.. But this is still my blog, and I can do what I want with it...
Really though, why are you still reading this?
Even for Asa, it's not very good....
I don't know... I'll continue when I'm not as busy.
