When I got home, Esther was playing with Sterling in the living room. I smiled lightly before going to the kitchen to grab a snack. Almost as soon as I went to sit back down with Esther and Sterling, Jax opened the door. I smiled as I set my snack down to stand up.

"You're home," I said before hugging him. After my conversation with Asher I felt to need to hold on to Jax a little tighter. He didn't have to love me back, but he did, and I was grateful for that fact. Being in a one-sided love was painful. I saw that from Asher's eyes today. It even made me feel a little bad for Siobhan too. She did everything she did because she loved Jax. Granted, she put our lives at risk, but I was the one who barged my way into his life.

"What's wrong?" Jax asked knowingly as I finally pulled away. I smiled even though my eyes were brimming with tears.

"I'm just happy that you love me as much as I love you," I admitted. Jax only chuckled before placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Of course I love you. I even have something for you," he remembered before pulling a small box out of his suit jacket. He opened it to reveal a diamond ring.

"I know I didn't get to propose in the normal fashion, but I still wanted to make it official," he explained. My tears finally spilled over as I looked at the ring.

"Jax," I breathed. He smiled before taking the ring out of the box and slipping it on to my ring finger.

"I know you've had to put up with a lot to be with me, more than you should've, but I'm happy you chose to love me, and stick with me. I'm happy I met you that night and again at the company that day. I'm happy I got to get to know you and vise versa. I'm happy with the man I am when I'm with you. I'm grateful you cared for me, and taught me what love is. I'm happy having you and Sterling by my side. I love you, Min. Honestly, I don't know what I would do with myself if you weren't here anymore. You're everything I didn't know I needed," Jax said. I could hear the raw emotion behind his words. I knew he meant everything he said. I kissed him gently before Sterling's baby noises distracted me. I chuckled as Jax wipes my cheeks dry with his thumbs.

"Go ahead. I'm going to change and catch up on a little paperwork, and then I'm all yours for the next week. After everything we've been through these last few weeks, I wanted to take some time off to just be by your side, and help with Sterling me. I'm going to be a good dad, and help raise our son in a house where we love and take care of each other," he promised. I sighed as I sat next to Esther and picked Sterling up. This was what I wanted. My little family was all I needed.
