Halloween (Late) Special!

A/n: This might be late because of my schedule and my horrible writing skills but hope you enjoy anyway. 

(In a Fanfic format) 

(My POV) 

It was a few days until the spookiest day of the year and I was getting ready for that day. I always liked Halloween as much as like Christmas and Thanksgiving, which was my go-to holiday.  While the party was for family, I did invite her closest friends, such as Michiko and Ecca. I was hanging up decorations I had gotten from her basement from last year. I couldn't wait to see everyone in their costumes and go trick-and-treating with my family and friends. I hopped down the ladder after hanging the last of the decorations. I stepped back to see my wonderful work. I smiled at herself as Black stepped foot onto the living room, "This is beautiful darling." 

I looked up at him and smiled, "Yeah, it gives off the whole Halloween vibe to it." 

Black pecked my forehead, "It does my darling." 

"Oh, did you get the cake yet?" I asked. 

"No, but I think Zamasu will get it soon. "He said coolly. 

I smiled widely. Everything was going well. This is actually how I wanted Halloween to be this year. I started to think about last year, all the horrible arguments Black and I used to get into. I shook it off and helped Trunks hanging up the lights outside. Soon after, Zamasu came back with the cake I had ordered from the bakery. Zamasu set it down on the table and opened it up for everyone to see its glory. I came into the kitchen and sniffed it, "Ah, nothing like a pumpkin flavor cake to get you in the Halloween spirit." 

"You seem into it Haruko. What's got you worked up this year?" Zamasu asked. 

"I just want everyone to spend time together as a family," I said, looking up at Zamasu, "And to get you and Black out of the house." 

I picked up the box and placed it in the refrigerator, "We can't have Beel eating this just yet. I'll tell Lucifer about the cake." 

Zamasu nodded and went into the living room. I sighed and skipped around in the halls to find Lucifer's room. I opened the door and saw him sleeping on his desk again. I sighed as I shook him lightly. His eyes opened slowly and saw me, "Haruko...? How long I was asleep?" 

I sighed but smiled at him, "A few hours now. I told you to drink coffee or something to keep you awake." 

He chuckled, "I supposed I could've done that. Is the cake here yet?" 

"Yep. I put the cake in the fridge so Beel won't get to it but can you-" 

"Of course," Lucifer said, finishing my sentence, "I'll watch him and have the others watch him too. Thank you for telling me, darling." 

He kissed my cheek and went to find the other brothers. Meanwhile, Alex was getting the costumes from last year out of the basement. He cut the box open and pulled an old costume out of the box, "Jeez, do you think they'll fit in these? It's been a whole year." 

I checked the size of the costume, "I think we should be fine. But I'll have everyone try it on again just to be sure." 

Alex nodded and picked up the box, "Alright, I'll take this downstairs, maybe they'll want to claim it and go trick-and-treating again this year." 

"I highly doubt it but you can try it anyway," I said coolly. 

He nodded and carried it downstairs. For the rest of the day, I was too focused on preparing for the party. 

~Timeskip to 10/30~ 

I woke before my alarm clock and put on a jacket. I remembered I had promised Black to take him costume shopping because he needed a new costume. I barged into Black's room and turned on the lights to wake him up, "Black, get up! We have to go buy your costume for tonight!" 

"Yes, of course. I'll be right there, my dear." He said groggily. 

 While he was getting ready, I changed into my casual outfit, worthy for the Halloween party tonight. Alex was in the kitchen, probably checking the cake from two days ago. 

"Hey Alex, do we need anything? I'm probably going shopping with Black." I asked him. 

"Yeah. We need candy for trick-or-treaters," He said as he put the cake out. 

I hummed in response, "Alright then. You're okay at home?" 

"What are you, my mom?" He said slyly. 

"Oh, shut up and watch the cake." 

He chuckled and went into the living room. Black came downstairs, fully dressed, and pampered. I smirked at him, "Well, you took your sweet time." 

He scoffed, "My dear, a God must always look his best." 

I playfully punch his shoulder and we were off to the costume shop. When we got there, it was extremely crowded with people trying to buy costumes for their kids. Black grabbed hold onto my hand, "Hang on to me, I don't want you to get lost in here." 

I smiled at him and we were on our way. After we got his new costume, we went to the store to buy candy for the kids coming to trick-and-treat. When we got home, Michiko and Ecca were already in the living room with their husbandos. It was kind of cute, to be honest. I dropped off the candy in the kitchen and went to the living room, where Michiko and Ecca are. 

"I'm so glad you guys can make it!" I said with a smile. 

"Of course," Michiko said, "We wouldn't miss for the world!" 

Ecca looked at me, "We still have to go trick and treating together! There's no way I'd miss this party!" 

"Oh right! How can I forget? We all go when it's nighttime!" 

Later on, Kat showed up with her spooky cute costume. The party started with the cake which was not eaten by Beel. Alex put out a bowl of candy for the kids to take. It was 4 p.m. and we girls went into the changing room to change into our costumes.  Michiko looked at Ecca, "You look so cool Ecca!" 

"Aww, thank you!" She said smiling, "You look cute as well, Michiko!" 

"Thanks!" 

"Are you guys ready to go?" I asked, pecking in. 

They all nodded and we headed downstairs to get everyone in a costume. We had everyone put on the costumes and we headed out into the neighborhood. Most of the houses had candy in a bowl so we could take as much as we wanted. There was one house that hosted a haunted house and Fu insisted Ecca and I go in. Lucifer went in with me but me being the scardy-cat I am, I had to hold him the whole way out. 

We all headed back to my house and said our goodbyes. This year was actually a good Halloween.
