K'Ari POV

"Time to get up, Masani. Shower and get ready, we getting breakfast before I drop you off." He moans but eventually rolls over to make himself fall off the bed.

While he's in the shower, I put the finishing touches on my makeup.

"Are you done?" He peeks his head out the shower, "I'm ready to get out and you in my way."

"Boy!" I laugh. "Yeah, get out .. with yo big head ass."

"Ari?" He calls me from the bathroom.

"You just kicked me out to call me back in?"

Laughing, he places his hand on my shoulder. "I know we're not going to be staying here for long, but when you move into your apartment, can I stay with you? I like being with you."

"For one, if you don't get yo wet hand off me. And two, we already said that this is temporary. You know you going back with mama."

"Ari, please?" He looks into my eyes and I can see how sincere he is.

"Finish getting ready."

"Take my picture."

"Say please."

"Please, Masani." I cock my head to the side.

"Dang, can you smile?"

"Alright, let's go before we both late

Liyah POV

'Ari I'm sorry. Can you please move back in?'

"Nah, she'll probably deck me in my face for that."

'Ari, can we talk?'

"Fuck, I already tried that line on Wednesday."

'Okay, Ari. I know you're mad and you have every right to be, but can you please move back in. I don't want you wasting money staying at that hotel.'

"How the hell how ima tell her what she shouldn't be wasting her money on?" I was pacing back and forth outside of the classroom. She was talking to Professor Lee.

"Ari!"

"Liyah, I'm not fucking playing with you. You really want me to beat yo ass, don't you?"

"Just listen. Please?" She stares at me as if she was thinking about it, but then turns to walk away. "Ari, I'm pregnant."

'Pregnant? That's what the hell I come up with?'

"Congratulations." She says still walking.
