Elisabeth was sat on the floor as she tried to dry off Garfield,

"No you decided to jump in the soil so this is on you," it was raining outside and of course the cat wanted to go out onto the balcony and decided to jump into a plant pot.

"Come on baby," Elisabeth wrapped the cat in the towel as there was a knock at the door,

"Ben we don't have training today," it quickly became a tradition for the two to go to training together for the first session of the week.

"I know, I wanted to hang out," the boy shrugged as he walked into the flat,

"So what do you want to do?" The Norwegian placed the cat back on the ground before making sure that the back door was shut,

"I don't know, I was just bored at home," it was more of a Ben came to the realisation that if he didn't do something now then it would never get done.

"So you said let me go see what Elisabeth is up to?" She teased as he nodded before picking up Garfield not noticing that he was still slightly wet.

"Did he go for a run in the rain?" The defender pulled an unimpressed look as he placed the cat back on the ground,

"I mean kinda," she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck not knowing if she should try to explain what the cat had done,

"He went in the plant pot," she added as the boy let out a laugh,

"Your cat is dodgy," Ben shook his head as the two sat on the couch,

"Don't talk shit about my cat!" Elisabeth punched his shoulder as she sent him a glare,

"Rude," the footballer mumbled as the physio just stuck her tongue out at him.

"You started it, thinking you can get away with calling my cat names." The girl shook her head as the boy slowly turned to her,

"Where's Samira?" Ben had only met her once but could already tell that they were the only ones in the flat.

"She's in Liverpool with Trent," the tattoo artist had been spending more midweeks in Liverpool meaning that Elisabeth was alone in the flat more frequently.

"So you've had the place to yourself?" The blonde shot him a skeptical look as she couldn't tell if he was suggesting something or not,

"Yea basically, but it's been decent." She really liked time alone, and do she wanted company she would usually just phone Christian.

"So how have you been?" The two hadn't really seen much of each other since they got back from France as the blondes main worry was to take care of the American midfielder.

"I've been pretty good, it's been weird not seeing you," his sessions with the physios had been dropped to once a week and he was switched to work with Mark instead.

"Yea, I've missed having someone to make fun on," Christian always did what the girl asked, so when Ben arrived and would often complain about what he was asked to do.

It was now the next day and somehow the two managed to fall asleep in Elisabeths room,

"Shush you're gonna wake him," she whispered to Garfield as he sent her a look before sitting on the corner on the bed,

Quietly slipping out of the room she walked to the kitchen so she could make some breakfast.

"Would the nutritionists get mad at me if I make pancakes?" Elisabeth asked herself as she looked through her recipe book.

"If they don't know then it won't kill them." Ben spoke from the doorway as the blonde jumped,

"Fucking hell don't do that!" She clutched her chest as the boy let out a laugh,

"Sorry," the defender tried to hold in his laugh but it was no use.

"Do you want pancakes or not?" The physio sent him a glare before he sat on the counter next to her.

"I'll take the pancakes thanks," Ben smiled as he noticed the shirt that he subsequently lost when they were down in France was now a part of Elisabeths wardrobe.

"Good." She mumbled as she started making the batter.

It was about thirty minutes later and Ben found himself snacking on the chocolate chips that Elisabeth was using in the pancakes.

"You have chocolate on your lip," the blonde didn't even look up at the boy as she spoke, being too concentrated on the pancakes.

"Do you want to get it for me?" He asked in a joking tone but then quickly went quiet as she threw a wet cloth from the sink at him,

"I would be offended but you're cute so it's fine," it slipped out but just resulted in a massive grin on the blondes face,

"You think I'm cute?" She bit the side of her cheek as he nodded,

"Yea but you would look cuter if you were my girlfriend," Ben just figured now was the time to do it as it was perfectly set up.

"If you're going to ask me to be your girlfriend then at least have flowers or something." Elisabeth joked before quickly flipping the pancakes.
