Preferences: Fatherhood

Gavin:
As protective as he is, Gavin would be one of those paranoid, overbearing parents, though unintentionally so. Anything he deems potentially dangerous would be an absolute no-no; skateboards, rollerblades, trampolines, and so on. He would overdo the scolding when his child misbehaves, but not because of legitimate disappointment, but because he doesn't want his child to experience what he did in school. Despite all of this, he would absolutely shower his children with affection and make sure they know that they are the world to him, and he would do everything in his power to make sure their grandfather never meets them.

Victor:
Though he may not strike you as a kid-person, Victor would give his own child the world. From the very beginning, he would have a tendency to spoil your child, holding them too much in infancy, buying them unnecessary things later on. He would be firm with discipline, though, ensuring that your child learns obedience and respect to compensate for the spoiling. He also might end up training them to be conceited, despite your efforts to the opposite. In the teenage years, he would have no objection to his children dating, as long as Victor can meet the new boy/girlfriend first.

Lucien:
    Children of Lucien's would be angels, because if they aren't, their father terrifies them. Lucien would never harm his children, but in the face of disobedience or defiance his Ares side makes an appearance, reducing even the most belligerent of children to penitent tears. However, he is an excellent teacher to children and very patient; even at the end of a hard day at work, he would offer to help them with their homework or read a story to them so you can accomplish something. His defining characteristics as a father would be consistency; consistent with rules and discipline, and consistent with love and affection.

Kiro:
    Unfortunately, given his career, Kiro wouldn't be very present as a father, so he would make up for his extended absences with spoiling. He wouldn't want to be the one to punish, because he can't spend much time with his children, and he would always bring them gifts and treats, even if you ask him not to. He'd be a definite pushover, and instead of disciplining the children when necessary, he would leave that up to you. Thus, when he has a day off to spend with his kids, it would end with him practically in tears at your feet because he simply can't understand why the kids don't listen to him. Of course, you'd have to comfort him, because what can you do?
