Chapter 29

Mia's pov
Once we both shifted I took off running ducking underneath branches and jumping over logs. He let out a loud growl warning me to slow down but I didn't want to. The growls got louder and I tried to go faster but I was shoved into a tree making me yelp. I looked up to meet alpha Alec I averted my eyes as I slowly got to my feet. "Why didn't you listen my little one" he asked calmly waiting for my answer. "Umm I wanted to play tag" I answered looking up at him. He nodded "then why didn't you ask" he said "I'm sorry alpha" I whimpered as I scurried over to him. He suddenly bent down and picked me up and started walking to the meadow. When the meadow was in sight he put me down gently and nudged me forward. "Go play I'll watch" he simply said lying down on the soft grass. I yipped with glee As I took off into the tall grass I looked around and saw a butterfly. So I started to chase it not really paying attention to anything else. I was in the middle of my chase when a paw came out of nowhere and made me fall into it. "Slow down my little one" I heard I looked up and growled in frustration stomping my paw on the ground. He narrowed his eyes at me "alpha you made me loose the butterfly" I huffed at him. He chuckled and brought me closer to him "it's time to go back supper is ready" he said as he got up. "But I don't want to go can we play please." I asked pouting at him as I started to jump around him. Wagging my tail as I pounced on him a couple of times. "Mia it's time to go"he said more sternly.  "Fine" I whined out getting up and jumping on him coating myself in his scent. He let me finish before he picked me up by the scruff of my neck and headed home. When we got to the entrance of the forest he went behind a tree and shifted back. When he came back into view he was fully dressed. "Ok come we will get you some clothes inside." He ordered I growled a little at his tone and pushed past him. "Mia enough with the attitude" he snapped at me whatever I said in my mind which made Aria snicker. When we made it to my room I trotted into the closet and shifted back.

Aria's pov
When I was done getting changed I made my way down to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of spaghetti. I made my way over to the table with the pups and I sat down. They were all excited to see me and we talked for a little bit until the room went deathly silent. All eyes landed on alpha Riley beta Ethan and delta Blake. I rolled my eyes as they acknowledged us then went to grab their bowls.  I started talking again when I felt something start to pull me up. I lifted my head and saw Riley "what do you want alpha" I asked gently. "Come on Aria you are to sit with me today" he answered "but why I'm so comfy here" I whined. He looked at me "you come now or you go to your room" he ordered. "You got to be kidding me"I grumbled and roughly pushed past him and made my way over to the seats where the delta and beta sat. "Aria knightly stop with the attitude" he ordered and a couple of gasps were heard. Without warning I banged my hands on the table and abruptly stood up and ran out of the dining room. I ran all the way outside and to the forest I kept going until I reached the little stream and I sat on the rock looking into the clear blue water. There was a loud howl in the distance and I huffed when I soon heard the pounding of paws. Finally the noise stopped and I felt breathing on the back of my neck. "What do you want alpha" I spit out "don't talk to me like that all I wanted was for you to sit with me but you couldn't even do that. What is the matter with you why are you acting like a child." He answered me "THATS BECAUSE I AM I CHILD RILEY AND YOU CANT CHANGE THAT YOU CANT CHANGE ME IM MY OWN PERSON. DO YOU GET YELLED AT OR ASKED TO CHANGE YOURSELF OR YOUR WAYS YOU MAKE ME FEEL BAD BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO WHAT YOU DO AND YOU WONT LET ME FIGURE IT OUT. YOU ARE SMOTHERING ME SO LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A BIT PLEASE."By the time I was done tears were streaming down my face I saw him the sadness in his eyes but he nodded and walked away. I let out a long breath that I didn't know I was holding and sat down again. Can I shift Aria I'd really like to explore and play I heard Mia ask just don't do anything stupid and let her take control. Once we shifted I heard her sigh I'm sorry Aria but I need my alpha. My eyes widened but before I could say anything she let out a howl calling him here.
