You have always seen Tom Riddle and an absolute dick but you've never really wondered if there's more to this emotionless mess.

Your in 6th year and your a Slytherin. You haven't really befriended any of the other Slytherins, but you have befriended some Gryffindors: Hermione, Harry, Ron, and the Weasley twins. You have always thought of becoming friends with some of the Slytherins but always thought what's the point. You shared a room with Pansy. You and her talked but you weren't really friends.

It was early morning and you couldn't sleep, so you got out of bed trying not to wake Pansy up. You threw a gray hoodie and some shorts on and went downstairs to the Slytherin common room. It was just you so you thought to read a book in front of the fire. A few hours pass, and you start to get a little bored so you go get breakfast.

You don't really sit at the Slytherin table. You walk over to the Gryffindor table and sit next to Hermione. You,mione and Harry are talking about what lessons you have today. (You would also usually be talking with Ron too but he's stuffing his face with food).

You glance over to the Slytherin table and see Tom Riddle staring at you. He smirks then looks away. You think nothing of it and turn back to talk to Hermione. While you were looking at your lessons today, you notice that Tom Riddle is in all of them. You hope he doesn't say anything about him smirking at you.

A couple of minutes later, it's time to go to you first class. It's potions. You think 'That's not that bad but hopefully it goes fast'. You get to the class and sit down. Your teacher is Professor Snape. Luckily for you, he seems to like you. He walks through the door and says "We will be making the potion Amortentia today. I have put you all in pairs to work with." You pray you get put with Hermione.

Snape starts to say the people who are working together. "Hermione and Ron." He says. You groan in annoyance. He says everyone else's names. You come last. "Y/N and Tom Riddle." You sit up and you get nervous. 'Of course I had to be paired with him' You thought. You roll your eyes and walk over to where he sits.
