Chapter 4

When you walk into the common room, you see Tom sat near the fire. You walk closer to him without him realising your there. You then say, "Looks like someone has the same plan as me." He jumps and says, "Jeez Y/N you scared me." "Sorry," you say while laughing.

You grab a book from the bookshelf and sit down on the couch opposite from him. You start reading and can feel someone watching you. You instantly know it's Tom but you don't say anything apart from smile a little to yourself. You start thinking, 'Am i falling for Tom?' But you carry on reading your book.

A couple of minutes later, you close your book and sit up facing Tom. You say, "So what you got there?" Tom says bluntly, "My journal." "Wow Tom Riddle having a journal. Would have never thought of that," you say smirking. He ignores you.

You start to think how this is the perfect time to tell him that you are starting to fall for him. "Tom. Can i talk to you?" you say. He looks at you and says, "Sure what's up?" You pat the couch to tell him to sit next to you.

You look at your hands. "I.I think I'm starting to fall for you Tom.." you say. Tom looks at you in shock. You go red. "I'm sorry. I'm gunna go-." You say. As you try to leave for the door, Tom grabs your wrist and pulls you back onto the couch. He looks at you for a second as your eyes begin to fill up with tears from embarrassment.

A tear forms and falls down your cheek slowly. He wipes it away with his warm hands and cups my face in both his hands. He says calmly, "hey, it's okay." He then kisses you passionately. At first your in shock, but then you sink into his hands and kiss him back.

The kiss lasted at least 5 minutes. But it felt like a lifetime. After it stopped,we just locked eyes.
