Alex POV

I had gotten up super early just to be able to get there before Jefferson, so it better work. I was currently driving to the place Washington told us about. It was supposedly Washington's old cabin that he used to go on fishing trips to. So great, a dingy old cabin in the middle of nowhere, with Jefferson. What could go wrong?

Well, I did it. I managed to drag my bags in, all by myself. Uh, I mean, not like I didn't think I could it, heh. Anyyyyyway, when I actually took a look around the place, it was way nicer than I thought.

It had two bedrooms (thank GOD), a small kitchen with a counter to sit at, one bathroom, and a little den area with a TV. Maybe this won't be so bad after all, if Jeffershit keeps out of my way. I quickly claimed the bigger bedroom as mine, and started to unpack my stuff. I made sure to put my countless notebooks away in a drawer, and not out in the open, because I really didn't need Jefferson to go through my writing.

While slipping on a hoodie that may or may not be too big for me, I decide to put in some earphones, lay down, and pray that Jefferson never arrives. I sigh. Just a normal old day.

Thomas POV

I wake up to yelling. Lots of it.

"Thomas Jefferson! Get up and pack right this instant!" my father yelled at me. Ow, there go my eardrums.

"What time is it?" I ask groggily, and glance over at my alarm clock. Okay, now I'm awake! I'm supposed to leave in 15 fucking minutes!

"You better get your ass moving if you know what's good for ya, boy!" my dad growls, and I immediately swing myself out of bed, frantically looking around for a shirt that isn't dirty for me to wear. My dad would drag me out of bed himself if I didn't.

"Shit, shit, shit!" I whisper yell, running around my room like a madman, tossing random things into my suitcase. I'll be really fortunate if more than two of those things actually turn out to be useful. Ugh today would just be so great.

Lucky for me, the car ride was nice and long, so I had some time to relax and think before I was inevitably driven to insanity by Hamilton. We'll see how it goes (didja catch that reference yall?)

I park my car outside an actually nice and cozy looking cabin, with a little porch and everything. Not that I would ever want to be with Hamilton any place considered 'cozy'. I grab my suitcase, sling my backpack over my shoulder, and begin walking inside. The only reason you're taking deep breaths right now is because you need to try to get along with Hamilton. Your debate class is on the line! I tell myself, and open the door.

Wow, so Washington's place just seems to get better and better. I almost forget that I'm staying here with another person until I see the only closed door, one of the bedrooms. Looks like Hamilton got here before me. One part of me was saying that I should go and bother him, but the other part is saying that I should be productive and unpack, then bother him later. I go for the second option. Besides, I like things neat and orderly almost more than I enjoy torturing my cabin-mate.

Alex POV

I'm just chilling on my bed, doodling in my notebook while listening to Mother Mother (don't judge me lol), when I see my door open, and almost jump out of my skin. I pull one earphone out and I'd be willing to bet that my face looked just as annoyed as I felt.

"Heyyyy Hamiltonnnn! Watcha doin?" Jefferson asks with that smug grin he always has on. I just roll my eyes and put the earphone back in. I did not want to deal with his bullshit right now. "Woah! Why is this room bigger than the other one?!" he continues. "Hey! Don't ignore me Hamilton!" I groan.

"Leave me alone Jeffershit. Are you even going to try to get along?" I say, and he shoots back,

"I'm putting just as much effort into this as you are darlin'."

"Get the fuck out of my room, now." At least he leaves after that. "And don't call me that!" I add, yelling to the other room. I don't get a reply, just some snickering. I wonder what I'm gonna have to do to get any peace and quiet around here. Or, in my case, peace and music. I definitely do not enjoy the quiet, it makes me think too much.

I realize it's dark out only when I go to switch the song on my phone and it almost blinds me. I should probably eat something... nah, I'll be fine. I decide that I'd rather go ad mindlessly watch TV, so I go to you, watch TV, but of course he beat me to it. I stand there for a couple minutes until finally he notices me.

"What do you want?" He lazily rolls his head to the same to look at me.

"Get up. I wanna watch TV." I state, but of course he just smirks and says,

"No." I can see that this is getting no where. Great, so I'll just have to read more fanfiction and write more to entertain myself. I sigh and trudge back to my room, and I can practically hear his grin. This isn't so bad I guess. I love to write, and besides, I was reading a really good fanfiction, it was about the founding fathers Lin Manuel Miranda and Daveed Diggs. And that is what I did, until I saw the sun rising.

AN:

Wow so this chapter has a lot more words than the last. Oh well, at least I'm keeping myself entertained.
