Thomas POV

The day goes by in a blur of rushing to somehow cook the turkey (we're all pretty inexperienced in that area except for Mary of course), hanging around Alex and all my siblings who thank god love him, and thinking way too much about what Elizabeth was talking to me about this morning.

"I think you're both being idiots-I mean tell me you don't notice the way he looks at you!" It's true. Alexander is pretty much blatantly obvious. But what troubles me is why he is holding back from admitting anything without me directly bringing it up (which I don't think I'll ever be able to do).

Part of me is a little scared he still secretly hates me, and this is all for show. While that might be completely irrational, given what I've previously mentioned, it's still a fear that haunts me.

"I mean, I do, but-ugh I don't know, I'm sort of waiting for him to make the first move I guess..." I trail off.

"Wow, you are not the Thomas I know. But alright, fine, do what you want, you're only making both of you suffer!" She's about to walk out when she suddenly turns. "He's in love with you Thomas. Trust me."

Maybe Eliza is right, she always has been. God, but I just can't-I should focus on something else, I'm supposed to be having fun here, it's Thanksgiving!

"Uh, Earth to Thomas?? Are you ready?" Alex is poking me in the shoulder, and I give him a smile.

"Yeah, yeah. You will never win against me!" Peter and Lucy observe the chaos as Alex easily beats me at Mario Kart, which I have to say, I saw coming.

Meanwhile, Eliza and Mary are cooking, while the triplets are all on their phones, except for Randolph who is drawing.

"Alex, are you gonna come for Christmas?" Lucy comes up and askes him.

"Ha, I'd love to, but I don't know about Thomas?" He turns to me with a questioning look.

"I'd love to have you, Lex."

Alex POV

I notice that Thomas doesn't really call me darling around his family, which I find sort of weird because Mary has definitely called me that several times, and it used to be a ver common occurence. Mary's so nice, like the mom I never had, and Lucy and Peter are so sweet. I haven't really gotten to know the others too well, but they seem to like me fine I guess. Elizabeth seems really close to Thomas, so I hope she doesn't you know, hate me.

And now I'm gonna spend Christmas with them? Honestly, that sounds like a dream come true. Especially if there'll be a feast like this one. The food is amazing, but I'm more focused on how great this is. It makes me feel like maybe, I've actually got myself a family.

"Hey, could you pass the salt darling?" Thomas askes, tapping me on the shoulder.

"Sure." I don't even realize until a few seconds later that he started using the pet name again, and I feel my face heat up a little. He gives me a knowing smirk and just like that I'm ruined for the rest of the meal.

I flop down onto Thomas' all too comfy mattress, but even though I'm physically tired, my mind is racing still, so yay, I get to lay here for the entire night.

"Tommy!" I hear footsteps and the sound of Lucy's voice on the other side of the door, maybe down the hall a little bit.

"What should I get your boyfriend for Christmas?" Suddenly, I freeze. I listen for Thomas' response.

"Heh, I'm sure Alex would like whatever you get him, but he's unfortunately not my boyfriend." Did he just say 'unfortunately'?

"But Elizabeth said-" Thomas groans.

"Oh, I'll get her! Maybe it's time for you to go to bed, Lucy. It's past your bed time." A few minutes later, after some complaining from Lucy, Thomas finally opens the door.

"Hey, didn't expect to see you in bed this early."

"Hm, neither did I. Unfortunately my mind will not shut up though." He flops down next to me, and almost on impulse I curl into his side.

"Unfortunately..." He murmurs as he threads his fingers through my hair. I giggle.

"Lucy is so sweet. I'll miss her."

"You heard us didn't you?" I smile in pleasure from his fingers against my scalp.

"Yup."

"I'm sorry about that, apparently I'm not allowed to have friends." He chuckles.

"I don't mind." And with that, I am easily put to sleep.

Ok, so I just realized that at the beginning, Thomas still lives with his dad, but uh, pretend that never happened ok? Ok.
WOAH sorry this took so long I kinda just didnt do anything over winter break, so you know. But I've been reading back through this and there's SO MANY mistakes, plot holes, and errors. So sorry. But like, DUDE. This was just sort of a mash of cute little scenarios I imagined, that sort of took the form of a story. WHY ARE YALL READING THIS??
