THE TALL METALLIC SKYSCRAPER housing Tokyo Journal looms above me with its floors upon floors of glass.

Jalen and I have done a decent amount of work over the past couple days. And our boss, Anne, has been pleased with our article so far - but it'd be nice if her attitude stayed that way. We have several more interviews to incorporate with no lead at all as to where to get them. So I find myself back at Sebastian's, hoping to get more insight from our quick meeting together.

"India, always a pleasure." Sebastian stands up from his chair as I walk into his office. He stretches his hand out in a cordial shake.

"Mine as well," I smile, returning it back. "Thanks for taking the time to talk."

"Of course, no problem at all."

He gestures for me to sit down at the seating area in the large office - complete with two leather chairs, a couch and a decorative coffee table stacked with his own magazines. He follows me close behind.

His suit bunches up slightly as he sits, but still manages to look immaculate. His hair is once again slicked back in a clean style, with his thin streaks of grey shining through. A friendly smile spreads across his face that is somehow both approachable and commanding.

It's not hard to imagine how he so rapidly climbed up the corporate ladder. His whole persona screams luxury and CEO.

I immediately jump into my dilemma, not wanting to waste any of his time. His charm seems unmatched as he rattles off several long-time music producers in town that he'd be willing to set me up with.

"Really?" I grin, leaning toward him in surprise. "You'd do that? Thank you so much!"

"Yes, don't worry about it. Happy to help in any way I can." He lets the praise roll off of his shoulders.

"Well, I don't want to take up any more of your time. I know you're a busy man, so I can get out of your hair." I smile, brushing the wrinkles out of my work pants before promptly dismissing myself.

"Actually," Sebastian stops me in my tracks. "I'm glad you contacted me because I had been wanting to talk to you about something else."

"Oh," the shock appears in my wide eyes. "Yes, anything." I return to sit in my spot.

"Anne would kill me if she ever heard this, but I've been looking at both your and Jalen's work ever since you came by and I must say, I'm very impressed." He compliments.

I sit silently. A blushing tint slowly appears on my cheeks.

"If you're ever interested in staying in Tokyo more permanently, I just want you to know that you would have a position here." He offers. "Of course, we'll keep this between us as professionals. Wouldn't want Anne to think I'm stealing her best employees." He laughs airily, trying to make light of the manner.

"Oh," I stutter, not knowing how to react. "Of course, no, I understand."

"Well, I heard you and Jalen also accepted the invite for the party tonight. So, I'll let you sit on it and I'll see you both tonight." He continues calmly.

"Yea. Definitely." I smile, getting up from the chair once more. "Oh, and Sebastian." I turn around quickly, asking him before I forget. "Jalen invited a friend with us tonight. He's a bit more well-known in certain circles, so I hope that's not an issue. I don't want to detract the attention from your party."

He looks over his shoulder at me as I near the door.

"No, not at all." He hums. "You know there's no photography in that building. And I'm unsure if the crowd at this party will be much in the know of people your age anyway." He dismisses the concern.
