Alera’s P.O.V

The bell rang and I had to find my homeroom, when I found room 28 I could tell everyone was already in there. I opened the door and walked in; everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me, there was this one guy though, he wasn’t starring he was glaring,

He was gorgeous, he had dark brown hair and just the right pale of skin, his eyes were a nice shade of blue with a little black in them, when I saw him smirk I looked away quickly,

I walked over to the teacher and he looked at me, “may I help you?” he asked, I gave him the pass and he read it,

“Ok Alera, take a seat over here and I’ll introduce you to the class,” he said, I looked down,

“You don’t have too,” I told him, he smiled and shook his head,

“No, I don’t, but it’s my job to,” he said, and I walked over to the seat, “everyone, this is Alera Clearwater, she transferred here from…” he stopped talking and looked at me, “where’d you transfer from?” he asked, I looked at him,

“Europe,” I said, he smiled,

“She transferred here from Europe, make her feel welcomed, and be nice,” he warned, then went back to his seat.

Hayden’s P.O.V

I was sitting in homeroom next to Brandon when the door opened, all of a sudden the smell of strawberry and peaches hit me, I shifted in my seat a little and that’s when everybody looked at her, my wolf was screaming at me again, but I controlled him, instead of starring I glared at her, I hated the way she made me feel, I wanted nothing but to hold her, she looked so fragile, innocent, the way her blonde hair shaped around her face, her eyes, greenish blue, they pieced straight through me, then I heard her thought and smirked, she looked away quickly, shit why am I thinking like this, I don’t want a mate, or do I? uh, I hated feeling this way.

Brandon looked at me when she had her back turned to us, “no you don’t, you love it,” he whispered, I rolled my eyes, then watched her go to her seat, Mr Hamilton stood up, “everyone, this is Alera Clearwater, she transferred here from…” he went quiet, “where’d you transfer from?” I heard him ask her, “Europe,” her soft silky voice replied, “she transferred from Europe, make her feel welcomed and be nice,” he warned us, then took his seat,

I turned in my seat and faced Lola and Nick, Brandon faced them too, “got a plan,” I said, Lola shook her head,

“Hamilton told us to be nice, that’s what I intend to do,” she told me, I rolled my eyes,

“I was just gonna ask you and Nick to become friends with her, teach her the ropes, make sure nothing happens to her,” I said, the minute I said the last part they stared at me in shock, Nick lent forward,

“She’s your mate isn’t she?” he asked, I narrowed my eyes,

“So what if she is,” I said, they looked at each other,

“It’s our job to protect our Luna, so that’s what we’re gonna do,” Lola said, I nodded once and turned back to face the front.

I was walking to my first class when Scarlet stopped me, “Hayden, wait stop,” she called, I groaned and turned around,

“What do you want Scarlet,” she pouted,

“You only call me that when you’re mad at me,” she said with puppy dog eyes,

“Get to the point,” I snapped, she stopped with the eyes,

“I want you back, I realised, breaking up with you was the wrong thing to do, now I want you back, please,” she said, “I’m begging you,” I smirked at her,
